To celebrate the launch of DisneyLife, the new digital membership service from Disney, they'd love to hear about your favourite Disney films from your childhood and whether you've shared this film with your DCs.

Here's what DisneyLife says "We're so excited to launch DisneyLife, which gives the whole family access to a fantastic collection of Disney and DisneyPixar movies, Disney Channels TV box sets, books, music and more, in one place. DisneyLife will help create magical moments for the whole family to share, so we're keen to hear about your favourite Disney film from childhood and if you've shared a magical moment with your children by watching this together."

So, what was your favourite Disney film when you were a child? Maybe The Jungle Book was your favourite and you would always sing along to the Bare Necessities? Or perhaps you loved Peter Pan and wished you could fly around Neverland? Maybe you watched Pocahontas repeatedly and wanted to learn to paint with all the colours of the wind? Have you shared your favourite Disney film with your DCs?

Whatever your favourite Disney film was, DisneyLife would love to hear about it!

Everyone who adds a comment will be entered in to a prize draw where one winner will receive a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Check out our bloggers review of DisneyLife in the new video:

Thanks & good luck,

Lady and the Tramp was my favourite when I was a child - I loved that film !
When my son was a toddler he watched Bambi every single day :-)

OnlyGodKnowsWhy · 31/12/2015 11:56

I saved up for weeks to buy the videotape of the lion king. Watched it so many times I knew it word for word.

All of my children love it as much as I do though they watch it on DVD now. And when they get worried, we always say...Hakuna Matata!

angiehoggett · 31/12/2015 12:42

I always loved A Little Mermaid and I grew up wanting to be a Mermaid!

Jade5093 · 31/12/2015 13:57

The little mermaid - and my 3p year old now loves it just as much as I did ❤

nerysw · 31/12/2015 14:53

Mine was the Fox and the Hound. We didn't go to the cinema much when I was little as there wasn't one very close but it was one of the few things I saw the pictures and I loved it.

I remember loving Snow White - I saw it a lot on video as a child. Last night I watched it for the first time as an adult, our DD got it in her stocking. It was lovely, the dwarfs are very endearing.

mwatmough · 31/12/2015 15:58

The Jungle Book

informer365 · 31/12/2015 17:21

it has to be lion king. Mufasa getting killed takes emetion to a whole new level for any child

katiefish · 31/12/2015 19:12

sword in the stone was my favourite and still is.

ParcelP · 31/12/2015 20:12

My favourite was Cinderella I loved her clothes (still do!)

lindsaysss · 31/12/2015 21:27

My favourite Disney movie was Bambi

welshpolarbear · 31/12/2015 21:37

I absolutely adored Mary Poppins, I'd watched it endlessly. It just transported you into a magical world. Funnily I watched it with our 3 yr old the other day for the first time and though too young to follow the story fully, he loved the songs too. Yay, I get to watch it all over again now!!

knobblyknee · 31/12/2015 22:57

I would have a hard time choosing a favourite Disney film, they all inspired me to draw at an early age. I especially loved the Jungle Book, Fantasia and Dumbo. I had the Jungle Book record and knew all the songs by heart. I was so excited to find it really was a book, and it started me reading Rudyard Kipling.
I also loved One Hundred and One Dalmations, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and The Swiss Family Robinson. I secretly dreamed about being marooned on a desert island.
Back then, The Jungle Book was my favourite Disney film, but only by a narrow margin.

Princessxo · 01/01/2016 00:19

It has to be The Lion King. I've probably watched it a thousand times. I'm a sucker for sad movies but I hate the crying part lol. Damn you Scar!

Daariina · 01/01/2016 00:35

Cinderella. What a classic. Just by a margin, it's The Lion King. Amazing story.

muddymary · 01/01/2016 07:47

Definitely beauty and the beast - I still love it now!

sfancy · 01/01/2016 10:57

Our all time favourite is the jungle book-we just love the songs and all of the animals. The songs inspired my son to sing as well!

GreyerbytheDay · 01/01/2016 11:03

My all time favourite is Pocahontas - when it came out I was obsessed with Native Americans and I just wanted to be her - so much so I sewed my own Pocahontas costume and felt moccasins! Luckily my DD is now also a fan so I get to watch it all over again and we belt out the songs together!

ThatsIrrelephant · 01/01/2016 12:06

As a child it was always the Lion King - betrayal, self-discovery and ultimately triumph. Plus I thought Mufasa was a pretty bad-ass dad.

Sixgeese · 01/01/2016 14:20

The DC want to share their favourites too....DS (aged 10) The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, he was thrilled to discover during one of the schools dress as a Disney Character Day that he could dress as Peter.

DD1 (aged 8) Aladdin, but that was a hard choice for her to make.

DD2 (aged 6) Beauty and the Beast, her favourite part is when the beast turns into a beautiful man, her words not mine.

DH, is being a grump and says he can't remember any, I think he will need to supervise his daughters TV watching next week.

al88 · 01/01/2016 15:14

I liked Cinderella as a child and my DDs now enjoy watching it too.

AdamantEve · 01/01/2016 15:49

My favourite was Petes Dragon. I used to warm up apples on the radiator and pretend the dragon had breathed fire onto them, like in the film!
It was on TV a while ago but my children didn't like it which made me a bit Sad !

2016willbebetter · 01/01/2016 16:31

As a child I loved Beauty and the Beast.
My children enjoy it but it's not their favourite.
My teenagers have grown up watching Disney films and still love them all now.
My younger children still haven't seen some of the classics, but they love the newer films like Tangled and Big Hero 6.
As an adult I have enjoyed The Emperor's New Groove and Meet The Robinsons.

TheFutureMrsB · 01/01/2016 17:04

My absolute favourite Disney film was The Little Mermaid, I still love it now! And my boys love Disney now too Grin

Debsmumof3 · 01/01/2016 18:27

Bambi. And jungle book.
