Board games & card games are favourites in our house (when I can get DCs off the tablets & Xbox!)

We bake. And craft. And watch films - sometimes we all pile into my bed and watch them which is my favourite rainy day thing to do!

We aren't into rainy outdoor stuff!

Usually whatever we had planned before, we don't let a bit of rain stop us, and there is nothing better than going for a run in the rain.

we dont let the rain stop us, wellies and raincoats on every time!

We play with trains, cars and duplo, we do some baking or put on a good film and get comfy with blankets and snacks on the sofa.

We do painting, cooking or go to a soft play. Muddles puddles are always fun though

we scrapbook, we collect pictures and make scrapbooks on a theme, animals, transport, food etc. cutting out and pasting keeps little ones engaged for a few hours. amazing what pics you can collect from magazines, newspapers and junk mail.

We either don the wellies and get out puddle jumping or we unleash the art box and get glueing and glittering :)

Baking fairy cakes, icing fairy cakes and whilst we are waiting for the icing to set- a film, play doh and colouring in, followed by building a den under the dining room table with duvet covers before diving in to demolish the fairy cakes!

Yesterday we made cookies and then played with the Playdoh and Lego.

My son loves one on one attention so he is happy almost anything.

We play board games, Ludo is our favourite at the moment

we had a box of ideas, ranging from watching a film, to going for a walk, making cakes etc. we would take it in turns to choose one.

DS and I have a movie day if its miserable and wet outside, it seems so much more cosy then. We hire a film online and get lots of treats in bowls on a table in front of us then sit huddled under blankets watching the film while nibbling on popcorn and crisps.

Try to pass on domestic skills - baking or needlework

Rain does not usually change our plans unless it is really stormy & then we tend to do crafts or painting

Usually its still a normal day for us if it's raining, jumping in puddles is a must. But if it is extremely bad we stay indoors and usually watch a movie and make some puzzles together. My daughter also loves helping me bake cakes.

We go and find the puddles! We hate staying in all day, and love going out in the rain! (Thankfully my DD has inherited that from me!) We just go for outdoor walks etc and it's even better because most people avoid them so they are lovely and quiet!

Also, having a picnic in the boot (with the boot open!) so we can snuggle and listen to the rain. Love it!
