To celebrate the re-launch of the Bassetts Vitamins range for all the family, they'd like you to share on this thread what you do with your DC (young or old) on a rainy day.

Do check out the video one of our bloggers made for them

Bassetts Vitamins say "we think family life is all about big puddles, big mud, big adventures, big tree-houses, big imaginations, big games, big days out, big messes, big noises and big fun - now we'd love to hear what fun times you and your family get up to when it's raining outside".

As the range includes vitamin products for all ages from 6 months, they'd love to hear from you, whatever age your DC are - whether they are teens or toddlers - what do you do or encourage your DC to do when it's all grey and rainy outside?

Add your comment to the thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for John Lewis.

Thanks and good luck.

zakaya · 28/11/2015 11:38

Do some baking and have a picnic indoors. With the rug on the floor with their favourite Disney film on.

glennamy · 28/11/2015 11:39

Either arts & crafts or do an indoor activity like swimming

rachelmi · 28/11/2015 11:41

A spot of baking, arts and crafts, a dvd or making dens.

Lovelydiscusfish · 28/11/2015 11:47

Put on waterproofs and wellies and go out in it if possible!
If not, we would stay in and do reading, writing, craft, sticker books, jigsaws, board games, play with toys, and perhaps watch a DVD!

LeeR1985 · 28/11/2015 12:08

We usually watch some pokemon on netflix and play some games like frustration, kerplunk etc :D

We do painting, baking, board games and watching DVDs to pass a rainy day.

Nettie17 · 28/11/2015 12:46

Have a cosy day in watching DVDs

happysouls · 28/11/2015 12:46

Rainy days...well it depends how much rain! Wrapping up and going out anyway is always an option! But if its really really raining then I kept a huge stash of 'making things' boxes. I used to put by anything that would be good for painting, gluing, creating, cutting up and generally making a mess! So plenty to choose from depending on how much mess we wanted to make and what we fancied creating! We had lots of fun!

hazelangell · 28/11/2015 12:54

We like to stay in and craft or bake. We often have indoor picnics too whilst watching our favourite animated films.

mo3733 · 28/11/2015 13:12

i have a box full of craft items that we get out and create whatever we fancy on the kitchen table. sometimes we do fantastic collages.

easter1965 · 28/11/2015 13:14

Children love to make things, so we make cakes and also this time of year we make our own gifts, simple jars can be washed and decorated pretty with either candles or coloured beads to make lovely gifts x

alsproject · 28/11/2015 13:24

We find activities to do around the house

KittyKat88 · 28/11/2015 14:04

My DDs love to get some board games and puzzles out - Orchard Toys' The Cupcake Game and also their puzzles are good fun. We also do lots of colouring and drawing! DD1 loves to create her own stories at the moment, so she can often be found busy drafting a new story in her special writing book.

mickaul232 · 28/11/2015 14:06

watch a good video

Dizzyc73 · 28/11/2015 14:15

We love to get creative with arts and crafts and we have a large box of items that we save for a rainy day to make thing with. We also love to bake and then decorate cakes

merlymerly · 28/11/2015 14:28

It's time to get out the paper and paints and pick a theme to draw and colour, or make biscuits, using different kitchen items to make the shapes ans then decorate them with icing - and trying not to eat them all!

Clairemike21 · 28/11/2015 14:29

We tend to bake on those days

galaxygirl1 · 28/11/2015 14:44

I hate the rain, so we'd stay in and watch tv. If nothings on, then its straight to the dvd player.

rainbow1983 · 28/11/2015 14:47

Lots of different things, can range from crafty days to just snuggling watching films/TV, whatever takes their fancy at the time.

maisiesnan · 28/11/2015 15:47

We bake or do crafts, lots of sticking and glueing, sparkles and feathers everywhere usually followed by taking the vacuum for a walk round the kitchen, a quick shower and a picnic indoors

yoeydavis · 28/11/2015 16:16

The kids usually watch films or play computer games whilst I clean then read or do a bit of comping on the laptop.

beckyinman · 28/11/2015 16:17

What I used to do with my mum or nanna - baking!

nettymay · 28/11/2015 16:20

We hand write letters to friends and family and play I-Spy
