I clean and tidy.....honest I do :O But people visiting generally know that they will have to step over hotwheels cars and shopkins....possibly on their way up the stairs as they are lined up on parade xx

what makes it a home is the fact that it has a lived in look, toys and books scattered around and DD's soft toys everywhere. It is comfortable and casual. I like it tidy, but not "show home" tidy, as that does not make me feel comfortable.

My 2 loony daughters, it wouldn't be a home without them running around and making a mess!

Family, presents under the tree, the stockings hanging up and everyone helping prepare the dinner.

I have a real thing about smells in a home and certain smells are just so homely. I like to have lots of candles around so the house smells nice & the low lighting makes it lovely :)

My kids and dogs make my house my home, but the added warmth of the fire on with lovely yankee candles burning away make it!

Our cats make our house a home, they're so loving and we all adore them!

My good lady paints and I display her creations in our house which turns it in to our home.

Family, laughter, good rugs, home baking, candles and all of our trinkets!

The fact that it looks lived in and not a show house

We always have a real tree with traditional type baubles and lights.. lots of candles, decorated fireplaces and most importantly family and its usual organised chaos

Scented candles, log burner roaring, little decorations/ornaments dotted about, nice painting on the wall.

Family makes my home! Plus I just love my home comforts, such as my fluffy pillows, thick carpets and comfy sofa!

Love makes our house a home, particularly at Christmas when family and friends come round.

The nights drawing in & being cosy & warm indoors, the twinkly Christmas lights & all the gorgeous ornaments jostling for space on the mantel piece - I love switching the lights on & basking in the comforting glow & feeling all snuggly & at peace with the world curled up with my LO :) x
