To celebrate the re-launch of the Bassetts Vitamins range for all the family, they'd like to hear all about the things you like to do to have fun as a family.

Do check out our the video one of our bloggers made for them

Bassetts Vitamins say "we think family life is all about big puddles, big mud, big adventures, big tree-houses, big imaginations, big games, big days out, big messes, big noises and big fun - now we'd love to hear what fun times you and your family get up to which help you bond".

As the range includes vitamin products for all ages from 6 months, they'd love to hear from you, whatever age your DC are - whether they are teens or toddlers - what do you do to have fun as a family?

Add your comment to the thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for John Lewis.

Thanks and good luck.

just getting outdoors together is so important - there's something about fresh air and nature and it just helps us bond as a family - especially if we end up getting lost in the countryside and having to work as a team to get home before dark!

We'd love to try geocaching soon too!

Indoors, playing board games that are suitable for all ages is great or dare i say it, even wii-u games where several of us can join in together are fun for us all!

10 pin bowling has become a favourite family pastime. Great fun and it gets very competitive.

beehummingbird · 20/10/2015 21:40

Days out.

buckley1983 · 20/10/2015 21:42

We've been getting out & about more recently - riding bikes, walking & running. Where we live is quite rural - so we're lucky that there's lots of places we can explore on foot. In all honesty, it's usually out LO bugging us to get up & go for a walk rather than the other way round.. the shame! We all love it once we're out though & take pleasure in the small things - collecting sticks & leaves, keeping an eye out for fallen birds nests, snails & wild mushrooms. We all love a game of hide & seek & you can't beat a family race to shake off the cobwebs!! :D

We go geocaching or walking, or to the beach in summer. If it's wet we go to the library, bowling, cinema or out for lunch. We have National Trust membership so that takes care of a lot of days out!

fazkin · 20/10/2015 21:54

Starts from rolling around in bed playing under the duvet, to watching something together, having a meal together, run around in the park, explore new places, fun by the beach....the possibilities are endless.

We love to visit places like castles, historic places etc. We spend the whole day there and like to go by train and or bus. Always keeping it child friendly by throwing in lunch at a fast food.

With two young DDs they are happy to be anywhere with mummy and daddy! Playing at any park is always a winner, and they love nothing better than discovering a new park to play in when we visit different places! Sometimes the simple things are the best :)

We are lucky enough to live near a beach so we often spend days out there in the summer, walking along the beach and ending up at the penny machines then walking on to the harbour where we have a bag of chips or a picnic on the common. We also love to bake cakes, go for walks in the countryside, and visit the local dockyard where they have lots of activities for kids.

beach walks with our DCs and the dog

lhlee62 · 20/10/2015 23:29

Baking, eating the bakes, going to the park, arts and crafts, playing with water, messy play, the cinema is a firm favourite too for rainy days, the local zoo or farm for nicer weather.

We love to do baking, bike rides to the beach or the park, zoo visits, family holidays, playing board games. There are loads of fun ways to spend some family time.

emella · 21/10/2015 02:04

Baking and board games! We'll never get tired of board games, lots and lots of fun especially when its thundering and you need something to do :)

Hurr1cane · 21/10/2015 06:49

We go into the woods and DS gets his wellies on and splashes about in the stream and the mud.

Once, when DS was 8, he was stood in the stream in his wellies, the water didn't even come over the toes of his wellies and I was stood next to him and an older lady (only pointing out the age in case it is a generational thing' told me to take him out in case the water went over his face. Grin

I would have understood if it was deep, or if he was a toddler, or if I wasn't stood next to him.... But I'm pretty sure he was perfectly safe. He loves it in those woods

Rcollins91 · 21/10/2015 07:37

We love to go out every weekend as a family whether that be a park, play area, farm, beach, meal out. We always like to explore new places and sometimes a day at home with crafts or cooking

helly27 · 21/10/2015 10:28

We like fossil hunting and rock pooling on the Norfolk coast, walking and biking through the forest at Thetford and strolling along the banks of the broads stopping for a picnic of course.

sharond101 · 21/10/2015 10:39

We have discos in the front room, go to the beach even when it's freezing. Do baking, drawing and have singalongs.
