McCain has asked us to find out what Mumsnetters’ favourite family teatime meal is.

Here’s what they say, “5th October sees the launch of the Nation’s Teatimes campaign by McCain, which sees the brand turn real families into teatime TV stars. McCain is asking real families from across the UK to share real life video clips of themselves enjoying their tea on their dedicated hub www.mccainteatime.co.uk. From Monday to Thursday, the family videos from across the country will be edited against the clock into a McCain ’Teatime Today' advert and aired on ITV later that same evening at 8.45pm during a teatime ad-break.”

Whether you eat tea around the table or tucked up on the sofa, from the hectic to the calm, to over in a flash, no matter what teatime is like in your house there is always good stuff happening and it's where some great family moments take place.

So, what’s your favourite family teatime meal? Maybe you love your family pizza evenings when everyone helps to add their own toppings? Do you have a great beef casserole that everyone enjoys? Or is just beans on toast that the family love?! Whatever it is, we’d love to hear it!

Fish pie with peas.

Homemade pizzas for everyone to decoarate and chunky chips.

buffet bits, including salad, pasta, crisps and dips

Lasagna and garlic bread with salad always a winner in our household.

Probably pizza and chips as 1 is vegetarian,2 little fussy eaters and I love spicy foods.

Everyone would have a different answer!, so it includes toad in the hole, spag bol and mexican wraps

Fish fingers, baked beans and asda mini waffles. We had it tonight and the dc (2 and 4) hoovered it down.

Although personally I'd just go with a fish finger sandwich.

My favorite meal to cook for my family is beef stir fry with mixed vegetables

Pizza and chips. Easy and quick to make and everyone loves it.

Traditional Roast Lamb with mint sauce & gravy.

Chicken & chorizo paella is the favourite dish in our house, everyone loves it & it reminds us of Spain!

One of our family favourites is chilli lasagne

Beans on toast, with melted cheese

The great British Roast with all the trimmings followed by a trifle!!!!

Homemade Shepard pie with carrots

Lasagne and garlic bread is the winner in here

Sausage casserole

The kids love pizza and chips, if I give them that it disappears in minutes, also surprisingly so does broccoli!

Meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta are a favourite in our house.

Bangers and Mash is everyone's favourite!

Parmesan crusted chicken escalope (or pork) served with spaghetti in a creamy mushroom and spinach sauce.
Or as my DC call it, chicken nuggets and pasta.

Home made pizza and wedges - my daughter loves decorating the pizza herself and making a face with the toppings!

we love shepherds pie and veggies, or toad in the hole, both family favourites.
