The team at Bassetts Vitamins are celebrating the re-launch of their range of vitamins for little ones, bigger ones and sort of in-betweeny ones and would love to hear the things your children have said that were beyond their years which made you smile.

They say "our products are delicious, fruity and tailored to every stage to support families every day, because we believe that every moment of family life counts".

So please share on this thread the nuggets your child has piped up with - the kind of thing you'd expect from a grown-up rather than a small child. If they said them at a particularly inopportune moment, all the better!

Add your comment to the thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for John Lewis.

Thanks and good luck

When one of our pets died, DH went a bit teary, and went to bury the canary in the garden, DD 4 at the time, ripped a bit of kitchen roll off the dispenser, and went up to DH, handed the kitchen roll to him and told him to "pull yourself together". :)

My youngest asked what colour my hair was going to be this week....So much for the natural look!

Sadly my daughter wisdom mainly comes from repeating whstvive been saying to her brother

When my little girl was 4 years old she said to her dad "Have you seen Mummy's eyes in the back of her head ?". I didn't realise how much I had said it to her !

"Eat it all up daddy, or you won't be getting dessert"

Isn't it time for you to... (it usually is)!

My mother in law waved at my then two year old, Jessica, across the dining table. Jessica gave her a "look" and said "thats how drinks get spilled!" We were all in stitches and mother in law was firmly put in her place!
