To celebrate the launch of the Warburtons Paddington film ticket promotion across all of their Half & Half products, the UK’s number 1 bakery brand is asking Mumsnetters to share their families’ favourite sandwich fillings for the chance to win a family cinema gift voucher loaded with £200.

Are you creatures of habit like Paddington with his marmalade sandwiches? Does your family all have the same sandwich filling or does everyone get to choose their own? Simply share your family’s favourite sandwich filling on this thread by 28 November and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 cinema gift voucher.

Warburtons say their Warbeartons Half and Half range [do you see what they did there?] are a delicious blend of 50% wholegrain and 50% white flour, to provide families with essential fibre in every bite. Pick up any two packs of Warbeartons Half & Half Rolls, Thins, Wraps or Loaves to get a child’s ticket at all Cineworld cinemas, valid until 19th January 2015. Visit Facebook.com/Warburtons for more information.

Thanks and good luck!

PLUS…Warburtons, a proud sponsor of the world premiere of the new Paddington movie which is being held on 23rd November, is looking for a young star aged 5-10 yrs old to attend the exclusive event as its ‘Bread Carpet Reporter’ and interview the stars. There are also five pairs of premiere tickets for the runners-up. For further details and information on how to enter, visit Facebook.com/Warburtons

Trust me on this one, I've recommended it to MN before I promise you won't be disappointed. And open sandwich made from a seedy, rye bread with Boursin cheese and sliced radish.

Seriously yummy!

ArthurShappey · 20/11/2014 07:37

My DH says fish finger sandwich all the way with tomato sauce .

alphacole1811 · 20/11/2014 12:44

our house is either love marmite or hate marmite! my favourite is a very well done beef burger, strong onion slice, strong cheddar cheese slice, branston pickle and a slathering of marmite! Yess! All in the same bun! Smile

hulahoopsilove · 20/11/2014 13:02

Has to be Warburtons half and half with tuna, sliced cucumber and grated carrott

Blondieminx · 20/11/2014 14:53

My favourite is either prawn mayo with lots of iceberg on white OR brie, tomato and rocket woth red onion marmalade on toasted granary.

DD likes just plain ham. I am hoping she'll grow to like more exciting things as she gets older...!

over40andmumtoone · 20/11/2014 17:44

For me it's bacon, brie and avocado - yum, For my husband it's definitely cheese and pickle and for my son it's cheese, cheese and more cheese in a sandwich!

Coffeechick · 20/11/2014 17:45

Cheese, cucumber and tomato

KenDoddsDadsDog · 20/11/2014 18:55

Just discovered M&S festive sandwich - Brie , grape and port chutney. Fabulous.

WarriorOne · 20/11/2014 19:04

Tuna mayo, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cucumber and jalapeños.

Fragglewump · 20/11/2014 19:04

One minute steak with mushrooms and onions - salt and pepper and a dollop of Mayo mixed with whole grain mustard. Just to be extra decadent I'll have a blob of caramelised onion chutney on the side and a salad please. Excellent!

milkpudding · 20/11/2014 19:54

Me: tallegio cheese, roast veg, sun dried tomatoes. Veggie and tasty.
DH: something meaty, a pulled pork sandwich or similar.

ScienceRocks · 20/11/2014 19:58

Me - grilled halloumi, chilli jam, rocket.

Or roast pork, Apple sauce, chestnut stuffing.

Or Brie, bacon and cranberry sauce.

Or leftover keema (toasted sandwiches only).

Or smoked mackerel, watercress, horseradish cream.

Or Wensleydale cheese, sunblush tomatoes and rocket.

I lurve sandwiches, but they have to be hot!

monkeyplastic · 20/11/2014 20:14

I like mango chutney, ham and corriander. The other half likes chicken and bacon. My nine year old daughter loves salami and cheese!

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 20/11/2014 21:47

Left over Keema?

EEK!

We like a range of marvellous concoctions including..

Haslet, coleslaw and salad.

Grandma Singletons Lancashire with proper kick ass pickled onions and brown sauce.

YUM.

trice · 20/11/2014 21:50

We like spam, cream cheese, branston pickle and salt and vinegar crisps. The sandwich of champions.

I also love sandwich spread. Classy.

serenaserene · 20/11/2014 22:22

Cheese spread, ham and crushed up plain crisps
Leftover meat from a roast dinner with stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo
Ham and egg mayo or avocado & tomato
Sausage and tomato salsa (egg and lightly cooked bacon optional)

The ultimate - the chip butty on doughy white bread slathered in ketchup. Starch in a sandwich!

OooOooTheMonkey · 20/11/2014 22:25

My favourites are ham, sliced gherkins and mayo, or, Brie, bacon and red onion chutney. Mmm mmmmm mmmm!

AlexanderinaTheGreater · 20/11/2014 22:38

DH just has bread with ham in the middle - no butter, marge or anything to stop it being ridiculously dry. DD it's cheese, cheese or cheese (but with butter), I like my cheese with chutney.

ineedausername · 20/11/2014 22:41

My son will only eat peanut butter sandwiches
My daughter loves plain (aka a piece of bread folded over!)
I love cheese and salad
my partner thinks the more meat the better!

meandjulio · 21/11/2014 06:03

In ordinary life we all like different sandwiches - I am a cheese and pickle kinda girl, ds likes ham, dh likes brie.

The day we travel on holiday, though, I make egg mayonnaise sandwiches and we all eat them. It means 'start of the holiday' for us.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 21/11/2014 09:04

My son would tell you Nutella. I would say pork and stuffing and apple sauce for around Christmas, but in every day life we usually have cheese or egg mayonnaise.

GiantGaspingSatanicCyst · 21/11/2014 14:14

I don't know about favourite, but yesterday my 6yo ate a honey, jam, ham, peanut butter and Marmite sandwich. For breakfast.

The day before that, it was honey, cucumber, sugar snap peas and jam.

flamingtoaster · 21/11/2014 16:10

Overall favourite has to be the Christmas sandwich - turkey, ham, stuffing and cranberry sauce.

For lunches etc. then ham, chicken or cheese with salad.
