To celebrate the launch of the Warburtons Paddington film ticket promotion across all of their Half & Half products, the UK’s number 1 bakery brand is asking Mumsnetters to share their families’ favourite sandwich fillings for the chance to win a family cinema gift voucher loaded with £200.

Are you creatures of habit like Paddington with his marmalade sandwiches? Does your family all have the same sandwich filling or does everyone get to choose their own? Simply share your family’s favourite sandwich filling on this thread by 28 November and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 cinema gift voucher.

Warburtons say their Warbeartons Half and Half range [do you see what they did there?] are a delicious blend of 50% wholegrain and 50% white flour, to provide families with essential fibre in every bite. Pick up any two packs of Warbeartons Half & Half Rolls, Thins, Wraps or Loaves to get a child’s ticket at all Cineworld cinemas, valid until 19th January 2015. Visit Facebook.com/Warburtons for more information.

Thanks and good luck!

PLUS…Warburtons, a proud sponsor of the world premiere of the new Paddington movie which is being held on 23rd November, is looking for a young star aged 5-10 yrs old to attend the exclusive event as its ‘Bread Carpet Reporter’ and interview the stars. There are also five pairs of premiere tickets for the runners-up. For further details and information on how to enter, visit Facebook.com/Warburtons

For 6yo DS it's peanut butter, Nutella and banana - known in our house as "breakfast of champions". Mine would be rare roast beef and horseradish. 2yo DD likes jam, but usually just licks it all off and ditches the bread...

My favourite sandwich is cheese salad
my daughter cheese (has to be grated)
son - beef and stuffing
Hubby - BLT.

mamato3luvleys · 21/11/2014 17:53

My dc like tuna mayonnaise with lettuce and cucumber mostly but me and dp always opt for ham cheese and salad with boiled egg and loads of black pepper a pinch of salt and coleslaw. Mmmm a could just eat one now in a lovely seedy bun.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/11/2014 18:35

Bacon and Stilton is our family favourite for the weekend. For the week then my personal favourite is cheese with a very hot chilli jam.

However if I were to make my ideal sandwich right now it would be smoked salmon, wasabi and watercress. I've never had that combination but it sounds good!

janney3 · 21/11/2014 19:42

My favourite is bacon, avocado, tomato and mayonnaise with a little black pepper and if I am feeling really extravagant watercress.

Kids favourite is cheese, no butter no crusts tis very dry but they won't have it any other way

Tanukisan · 21/11/2014 20:41

Ooh, it's got to be banana and peanut butter. Classic from my childhood, perfect mix of sweet and salt.

Laniloulou84 · 21/11/2014 20:48

I love egg and cress on warburtons toastie bread.hubby likes cheese and marmite and 4yr old son loves ham and cheese with no crusts.

mindingalongtime · 22/11/2014 09:59

Banana, banana and cram cheese, banana and nutella!

Or if being grown up, salami, gruyere or similar and cornichons.

SassySugarCane · 22/11/2014 12:56

I am an egg mayo fiend. Love the stuff.

3yo DD likes to keep it simple, she loves ham and cheese sandwiches at the moment, occasionally with 'marto sauce' (ketchup)

DS (18mo) will eat pretty much whatever you plonk in front of him :o

NettleTea · 22/11/2014 13:25

mmmmmm
sweet I love a nutella with thick butter on fresh thick granary bread

savoury - rocket, rare roast beef and horseradish.

My daughter is currently addicted to passion fruit curd

My son sticks to ham. just plain ham on white sliced, nothing else please.

Hamiltoes · 22/11/2014 16:40

Peanut butter mixed with chocolate spread as a special treat- delicious!

SeattleGraceMercyDeath · 22/11/2014 19:09

Ham and cheese. Or sometimes bacon and Brie. Which is pretty much posh ham and cheese Grin

itsnothingoriginal · 22/11/2014 19:27

Family faves are cheese and grated carrot in mayonnaise (sneaky veg content for packed lunches!)

Personal fave is coronation chicken - calorific but sooo yummy!!

Michelle1985 · 22/11/2014 19:44

Grated cheese, freshly chopped onion and chews and onion crisps :) yummy!!!

TwoLeftSocks · 22/11/2014 21:47

I am and always have been a marmalade sandwich girl; thick cut marmalade with proper butter on wholemeal bread. Yum.

The rest of my family like peanut butter or just plain bread & butter.

GrendelsMinim · 22/11/2014 22:03

My favourite is pate with red onion marmalade and watercress - has to be on sliced granary bread, though!

The other favourite sandwich in this house is goats' cheese and tomato (white bread).

Gatheringthoughtstothink · 23/11/2014 01:37

Salmon cream cheese asparagus black poppy seeds
Avocado salmon cream cheese and sesame seeds, both fabulous

KateOxford · 23/11/2014 07:16

Half and half bread sounds great. I like cheese and pickle, my son and husband like cheese and ham and my daughter likes cheese spread. Toast has to be butter and marmalade!

Nottheshrinkingcapgrandpa · 23/11/2014 07:28

Egg mayo is always the winner here!

nerysw · 23/11/2014 07:43

Peanut butter - the whole family eats them and we go through a lot of peanut butter!

dawnz · 23/11/2014 09:07

My dear mum used to make sliced strawberry s/wiches with just a teensy sprinkle of sugar to encourage the strawb juice to flow. I still make em occasionally, for the nostalgia but also the taste! Yum.

A favourite for DH & me is bacon, brie & avocado s/wiches. And I still remember the look on DD's face the first time I introduced her to a crisp sarnie!

MrsMarigold · 23/11/2014 10:32

Grated courgette and carrot with brie
Walnut, pear stilton and rocket
Avocado bacon and tomato with cream cheese
Marmalade and sausage sliced

Somedays just slightly salted butter is delicious.

hashtagwhatever · 23/11/2014 11:09

Cheese, tuna and sweet gherkin toasted a little is the sandwich of choice in our house.

fuzzpig · 23/11/2014 11:31

The main one that we all love is cheese. DS especially loves cheese and bread in any combination and often has it for breakfast! For me though the addition of salt and vinegar crisps makes it even better.

My absolute favourite sandwich in the universe is my Xmas leftover sandwich - I love it even more than Xmas dinner! It's turkey, pigs in blankets and stuffing in a warm crusty baguette with mayo on one side and cranberry jelly on the other.

ImNotReallyHere · 23/11/2014 12:42

DCs always want tuna and sweet corn mayo.
DH has eaten a cheese and ham toastie for lunch almost every day for 20 years.
I like salami or cheese and pickle with extra jalapeño
