To celebrate the launch of the Warburtons Paddington film ticket promotion across all of their Half & Half products, the UK’s number 1 bakery brand is asking Mumsnetters to share their families’ favourite sandwich fillings for the chance to win a family cinema gift voucher loaded with £200.

Are you creatures of habit like Paddington with his marmalade sandwiches? Does your family all have the same sandwich filling or does everyone get to choose their own? Simply share your family’s favourite sandwich filling on this thread by 28 November and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 cinema gift voucher.

Warburtons say their Warbeartons Half and Half range [do you see what they did there?] are a delicious blend of 50% wholegrain and 50% white flour, to provide families with essential fibre in every bite. Pick up any two packs of Warbeartons Half & Half Rolls, Thins, Wraps or Loaves to get a child’s ticket at all Cineworld cinemas, valid until 19th January 2015. Visit Facebook.com/Warburtons for more information.

Thanks and good luck!

PLUS…Warburtons, a proud sponsor of the world premiere of the new Paddington movie which is being held on 23rd November, is looking for a young star aged 5-10 yrs old to attend the exclusive event as its ‘Bread Carpet Reporter’ and interview the stars. There are also five pairs of premiere tickets for the runners-up. For further details and information on how to enter, visit Facebook.com/Warburtons

For the dcs it is just ham....every day....just ham.....with the occasional bacon sandwich....a bit of a pig theme in our family. My dad was partial to marmalade and cheddar sandwiches, so a bit of a Paddington theme. As a child I was the official marmalade sandwich holder in Paddington Bear's Magical Musical..... It was made of polystyrene, but I felt very important!

Blu · 17/11/2014 13:21

Ooh, hard one! It depends on the day, but some of our favourites are:
Cold fish fingers with tartar sauce and watercress
Red Leicester cheese with either mango chutney or lime pickle
Bacon (hot) and avocado
Squashed cold falafel and hummus
but probably the top favourite is
Ham and cheese.
Or for me crayfish tails, lemon mayo, rocket. (I go to Pret for that Wink)

Izzy24 · 17/11/2014 13:23

Sausage and marmalade sounding good . Oxford or other ?

DragonTail · 17/11/2014 13:29

Chicken salad or even better a club sandwich.

DD's favourite is chocolate spread and DH's is ham.

CMOTDibbler · 17/11/2014 13:33

Sweet chilli chicken, avocado and mayo in a Newburn bakery (Warburtons gf line) seeded wrap

MrsPnut · 17/11/2014 13:41

We are pretty much creatures of habit.

DD has ham and cheese every day
OH has either cheese and pickle or cheese and tomato
I have either brie and grape, BLT on toasted bread or cheese and chilli jam.

marymanc · 17/11/2014 13:44

I personally like cream cheese and smoked salmon but my children prefer eggs and mayonnaise and chicken and bacon salad. Daddy likes ordinary cheese sandwich.

ChaffinchOfMegalolz · 17/11/2014 13:46

ham and hummus for me, dad east pastrami and horseradish - weird... kids like frankfurter hotdogs, or pastrami, or ham and cucumber... everyone like mayo and the odd gherkin Smile

ColdCottage · 17/11/2014 13:48

Lovely soft tasty bread, spread with full fat mayonnaise (no butter) add room temperature sliced tomatoes (vine if possible) sprinkle with low salt, add slices of pickled beetroot in vinegar and slice into 4 (minimises the likelihood of the beetroot falling out and staining your clothes or carpet).

Super tasty vegetarian sandwich.

My mouth is watering at the thought - off to make one now! Smile

we like lots of stuff - but current favourites are DD and DS: Salmon and cream cheese or tuna and sweetcorn, DP: Cheese and pickle or Parma ham and me: avocado and Parmesan cheese.

mumsbe · 17/11/2014 14:40

We love lemon curd sandwiches as a treat mostly on a sunday. I really like crisp sandwiches I know I shouldn't but they taste really yummy and are quick when your in a hurry.
We also like jam cheese savoury chocolate spread butter and brown bread sandwiches and best of all hot beef onions mushrooms and gravy sandwiches. We love sandwiches basically

rupert23 · 17/11/2014 14:43

We like toasties especially cheese and ham and i treat myself by putting a bit of sweet chilli sauce on it .

ouryve · 17/11/2014 15:24

We're all very different.

DS1 has ham and cucumber sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch, some days.

DS2 prefers something soft and tasty, like houmous. And no cucumber please.

My sandwich love is very mood dependent, but I almost always grab a cheese savoury, when I'm in Newcastle :o

DH doesn't seem so fussed as long as it involves minimal effort. If I make him one with salad in, he picks it out and eats it first, so I'm thinking his favourite sandwich does not involve salad of any description.

Dolallytats · 17/11/2014 15:57

The best sandwich I ever had was one I bought from a shop-it was an onion bhaji sandwich, completely delicious. I only saw it once, never seen it again Sad

At home, I like a toasted cheese and onion sandwich. DH only eats bacon or sausage sandwiches. DS only eats cheesespread wraps (picky) and DD just throws whatever she has been made to the cats!! (she is only 16 months and loves watching them eat her breakfast, lunch and dinner!!)

Madamecastafiore · 17/11/2014 15:59

DH pastrami, mayo, cheese, pickles and mustard.

DS turkey/chicken, mayo and stuffing.

DD peanut butter and jam or cream cheese and jam.

DD2 ham. Just ham.

Me, I like bacon, fried until it's really crispy and put inbetween shop bought white bread, no sauce, no butter, just the grease from the bacon.

hermancakedestroyer · 17/11/2014 16:03

In our house its mozzarella with tomato and basil or chicken salad with mayonnaise or cheddar with tomato and raw onion.

It's got to be the Christmas Day tea sandwich. Turkey, ham, cranberry sauce, mayonnaise and salad. I don't like sandwiches or cold meat, but the rest of the family often talk about looking forward to the Christmas sandwich.

imalostcause · 17/11/2014 16:18

My favourites are either cheddar with mayonnaise and salad cream, or cheddar with honey and thin slices of onion or corned beef, pickled beetroot and cheese and onion crisps!
