To celebrate the launch of the Warburtons Paddington film ticket promotion across all of their Half & Half products, the UK’s number 1 bakery brand is asking Mumsnetters to share their families’ favourite sandwich fillings for the chance to win a family cinema gift voucher loaded with £200.

Are you creatures of habit like Paddington with his marmalade sandwiches? Does your family all have the same sandwich filling or does everyone get to choose their own? Simply share your family’s favourite sandwich filling on this thread by 28 November and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 cinema gift voucher.

Warburtons say their Warbeartons Half and Half range [do you see what they did there?] are a delicious blend of 50% wholegrain and 50% white flour, to provide families with essential fibre in every bite. Pick up any two packs of Warbeartons Half & Half Rolls, Thins, Wraps or Loaves to get a child’s ticket at all Cineworld cinemas, valid until 19th January 2015. Visit Facebook.com/Warburtons for more information.

Thanks and good luck!

PLUS…Warburtons, a proud sponsor of the world premiere of the new Paddington movie which is being held on 23rd November, is looking for a young star aged 5-10 yrs old to attend the exclusive event as its ‘Bread Carpet Reporter’ and interview the stars. There are also five pairs of premiere tickets for the runners-up. For further details and information on how to enter, visit Facebook.com/Warburtons

That's easy, definitely bacon sandwiches for the whole family.

Solo · 18/11/2014 23:42

Generally, we are a cheese and pickle (Branston or Piccalilli) family, but Ds likes to have a cheese and bacon toasted sandwich. I love peanut butter and banana on really fresh bread...and Dd will eat anything!

BreconBeBuggered · 18/11/2014 23:45

Grilled red pepper or celery and cream cheese for me. Everyone else can have cheese and cucumber.

FrontForward · 19/11/2014 08:12

Grated cheese, apple, carrot and sunflower seeds.

PrettyPictures92 · 19/11/2014 11:15

Cheese with pickled onion, me and the dc can't get enough of it Grin

Stinkystinkypoopoohead · 19/11/2014 12:06

We love what we call an Old McDonald

Chopped up left over chicken, bacon, mushroom and onion with mixed herbs and topped with grated cheese and carrot.

yum

But you also can't beat a good cheese and onion crisp sarnie on ultra fresh white bread.

AndHarry · 19/11/2014 13:08

We all have different ones. DH likes ham, cheese & tomato. 4yo DS likes ham (but only the ham they have at school Hmm). 2yo DD likes cheese. I ripped off a filling idea from Tesco and like caramelised red onion chutney, Stilton, beef and rocket.

pnutter · 19/11/2014 13:23

Pnut butter with :
Cheese
salad or
Jam

Sixgeese · 19/11/2014 14:39

DD1 and I love marmite and honey sandwiches, DS is very boring with Cheese and ham, DD2 likes spread cheese and DH is happy with any sandwich as long as it is a meat filling.

elizaco · 19/11/2014 14:48

We love chicken salad wraps, although I think we'd all agree you can't beat a traditional strawberry jam butty!

KellyElly · 19/11/2014 16:35

Either smoked salmon and cream cheese or cheese and marmite.

Rhi186 · 19/11/2014 16:56

Our favourite sandwiches are marmite and cucumber, even when the cucumber turns the bread a bit soggy!

spababe · 19/11/2014 17:02

Boys - plain cheddar cheese
DH - cheese and pickle
me - avocado and quorn 'bacon'

fletcher992 · 19/11/2014 17:05

It has to be peanut butter and banana here.
Everyone loves it altho each has their own take as ds puts salad cream on too
Or close favorite is tuna mayo with chopped up pepper and sweetcorn

HettyD · 19/11/2014 18:07

My boys love mayonnaise, pesto and 'flat' chicken as they call it!!

mjmooseface · 19/11/2014 18:51

I like Tuna and Salad Cream or Chicken, Bacon and Mayonnaise (From Tesco!) Or a BLT (But I always take the 'T' out! ;)) Ooh, and marmite!

Husband likes ham and pickle and cheese and pickle.

Son likes Cheese and pickle and Marmite.

I prefer toast, though! And I'm on a major Nutella run at the minute!

happygelfling · 19/11/2014 19:27

DD & I are Marmite lovers, sometimes with Philadelphia too...
DH likes variety and puts different cheeses and meats in his sarnies.
DS is too little to eat sandwiches, but he happily chews any crusts donated by the rest of us!

BlueberryWafer · 19/11/2014 19:41

Me - cheese and pickle or ham and mustard

DP - corned beef or ham

Ds - cheese spread

Demonchops · 19/11/2014 21:37

Mine - crispy bacon, avocado and Hellmanns mayo OR marmite, philly and sliced tomato OR crunchy peanut butter and jam

Dh - all time fav, roast chicken and brown sauce or tuna mayo with spring onions

Dc- varies between the 3 but, invariably, jam is a favourite with all of them. Usually a good quality one with lots of fruit in it. Nothing value.Smile DS1 loves ham, mayo and cucumber. DS2, honey with sliced banana and DS3 - likes a bit of tuna mayo like his pops

BlackeyedSusan · 19/11/2014 22:18

ds cheese. he would have cheese everyday, and has done before. he now likes tuna or salmon with either cucmber or sweetcorn too.

dd: hates cheese but will eat cheese and pickle. plus the above too.

me: coronation chicken. I don't get it often as dd is allergic to eggs.

bluebump · 19/11/2014 22:22

My 6 year old would have chocolate spread every day if he was allowed. He's not, so we compromise with marmite!

I like peanut butter and jam, or marmite, or cheese with something!

MyNameIsInigoMontoya · 20/11/2014 00:05

I like variety, so if making my own it could be anything really depending what we've got. My all-time favourite though was pastrami, mozzarella and garlic mayo, from a fab deli I used to pass regularly but sadly don't any more...

As for the kids, they are both determined carnivores so they like ham, salami etc. but pate is their favourite.

DH likes doorsteps of homemade bread, with "interesting" cheese.

bucksmum71 · 20/11/2014 06:27

DS ham on soft white bread
Dd bacon

Me cheese, chutney on granary

artex · 20/11/2014 07:09

Peanut butter & crispy warm bacon sounds horrible. But I tried is at DSis' declaration of its loveliness & it is actually really nice!

peanutcookie · 20/11/2014 07:26

Decisions decisions! Hubby and I like a hot fish cake spread over toasted bread with sliced onions, green chillies, cucumber and mayo, two of the kids like plain cheese and the other two will have tuna mayo. I'm also quite partial to smoked Turkey with chilli jam or peanut butter and raspberry jam. We all love sausage or Turkey bacon sandwiches (me with brown sauce, others with ketchup or plain). Everything has to have crisps on the side!
