To celebrate the launch of the Warburtons Paddington film ticket promotion across all of their Half & Half products, the UK’s number 1 bakery brand is asking Mumsnetters to share their families’ favourite sandwich fillings for the chance to win a family cinema gift voucher loaded with £200.

Are you creatures of habit like Paddington with his marmalade sandwiches? Does your family all have the same sandwich filling or does everyone get to choose their own? Simply share your family’s favourite sandwich filling on this thread by 28 November and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 cinema gift voucher.

Warburtons say their Warbeartons Half and Half range [do you see what they did there?] are a delicious blend of 50% wholegrain and 50% white flour, to provide families with essential fibre in every bite. Pick up any two packs of Warbeartons Half & Half Rolls, Thins, Wraps or Loaves to get a child’s ticket at all Cineworld cinemas, valid until 19th January 2015. Visit Facebook.com/Warburtons for more information.

Thanks and good luck!

PLUS…Warburtons, a proud sponsor of the world premiere of the new Paddington movie which is being held on 23rd November, is looking for a young star aged 5-10 yrs old to attend the exclusive event as its ‘Bread Carpet Reporter’ and interview the stars. There are also five pairs of premiere tickets for the runners-up. For further details and information on how to enter, visit Facebook.com/Warburtons

egg mayo

AnneOfCleavage · 18/11/2014 15:46

Me: cream cheese and marmite
DH: fish fingers, lettuce and tomato ketchup
DD: tuna & sweetcorn with mayo

OwlCapone · 18/11/2014 15:55

Personally, I think you've got to go a long way to beat a traditional cheese and cucumber sandwich. Or cheese and pickle on thick cut soft white bread.

My guilty secret is cheap cheese sandwiches from children's parties - plastic cheese and white sliced bread.

InAndOfMyself · 18/11/2014 16:44

One son doesn't like bread Shock but he'll eat the cheese inside or the ham and the other son will eat tuna but not at home, only at nursery. I go all fancy for myself and get brie, avocado, and tomato on baguette.

RubyGoat · 18/11/2014 17:10

DH favourite is bacon & egg, on proper white grainy bread.

DD likes cheese, but leaves the bread (not really a sandwich, then) Grin

I like tinned tuna with hummus, cumin seeds, grated carrot, & alfalfa sprouts, on wholemeal seeded bread. Or, for a quicker lunch, butter & marmite, with a lump of cheese.

MakeTeaNotWar · 18/11/2014 17:58

We LOVE mashed avocado and grated cheddar or smoked cheese with tuna mayo. Divine

Sarahseabury · 18/11/2014 19:47

Cheese, coleslaw and chicken.

DillyDallyDaydreamer · 18/11/2014 19:52

I'm partial to a cold sausage and mustard sandwich

WaxyBean · 18/11/2014 20:00

Marmite or peanut butter for the boys - anything but those two fillings for the girls (moi).

sallyst123 · 18/11/2014 20:02

Ham salad sandwich with mustard for me. If you ask my dd1 it's peanut butter & jam
My dd1 it's banana & honey or chocolate spread
My d's loves nothing more than a cheese sandwich.

Taffeta · 18/11/2014 20:11

The DC love Warburtons sandwich thins and have them for their school packed lunch each day.

DS has Marmite, DD has ham. They are both also partial to ham, leaves and Caesar dressing, and DS to mature cheddar and marmalade.

My favourite would be cheese, onion ,leaves and Caesar in a granary sandwich. Of avocado, bacon and onion. DH's would be steak, onion and tomato in a baguette.

Or not of

MrsIgglePiggle · 18/11/2014 20:21

milliemoon · 18/11/2014 20:28

Our favourite is cheese on crusty fresh bread

Maiyakat · 18/11/2014 20:35

Chicken and avocado for me

Jam on toast for DD

CheeseEMouse · 18/11/2014 21:02

I like avocado and brie. Yum yum. My husband loves a bacon sandwich.

Solasum · 18/11/2014 21:16

Chocolate spread and marmalade, for Chocolate Orange in a sandwich. I suspect Paddington would approve!

MimsyBorogroves · 18/11/2014 21:45

DS2 lives for cheese and pickle sandwiches. Seriously - it's all he eats.

HappySunflower · 18/11/2014 21:49

Peanut butter and cucumber sandwiches are a big hit in our house!

LittleBallOfFur · 18/11/2014 22:06

Ds1 cheese and pickle (every day!)

Me normally tuna mayo but I love a posh parma ham, mozzarella and basil one

Dh bacon and egg

ds2 is weaning but seems quite partial to philly

unadulterateddad · 18/11/2014 22:06

Peanut butter with Mayo and lettuce and for a hot sandwich bacon with ketchup :)

lottietiger · 18/11/2014 22:06

The only thing we all like is cheese, but I'm allergic to pickle so I have mine plain or with tomatoes. dS doesn't like tomatoes so he will have pickle with DH. My favourite probably cold roast chicken on brown with a smidge of salt :)

ChantelD93 · 18/11/2014 22:37

Ham and cucumber is a firm favourite in our house! Xx

ILoveMyCaravan · 18/11/2014 23:17

Freshly cooked hot bacon and avocado.

Poached salmon and watercress.

Turkey, brie, peppers and cranberry sauce.

Shockers · 18/11/2014 23:24

Mine and DS's favourite is Brie, chopped peppers and fresh basil leaves.

DH is ham with peppers and spring onion.

DD loves mature cheddar cheese with salad (inc peppers obvs!)

If we're appealing to the masses, we go for a tuna mix (line caught) with mayo, spring onion, cucumber and... peppers!

Always wholemeal bread though.
