To celebrate the launch of the Warburtons Paddington film ticket promotion across all of their Half & Half products, the UK’s number 1 bakery brand is asking Mumsnetters to share their families’ favourite sandwich fillings for the chance to win a family cinema gift voucher loaded with £200.

Are you creatures of habit like Paddington with his marmalade sandwiches? Does your family all have the same sandwich filling or does everyone get to choose their own? Simply share your family’s favourite sandwich filling on this thread by 28 November and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 cinema gift voucher.

Warburtons say their Warbeartons Half and Half range [do you see what they did there?] are a delicious blend of 50% wholegrain and 50% white flour, to provide families with essential fibre in every bite. Pick up any two packs of Warbeartons Half & Half Rolls, Thins, Wraps or Loaves to get a child’s ticket at all Cineworld cinemas, valid until 19th January 2015. Visit Facebook.com/Warburtons for more information.

Thanks and good luck!

PLUS…Warburtons, a proud sponsor of the world premiere of the new Paddington movie which is being held on 23rd November, is looking for a young star aged 5-10 yrs old to attend the exclusive event as its ‘Bread Carpet Reporter’ and interview the stars. There are also five pairs of premiere tickets for the runners-up. For further details and information on how to enter, visit Facebook.com/Warburtons

And one from my childhood - overcooked sprouts mushed onto thick bread then dipped in lamb gravy. Sigh........

mymummademelistentoshitmusic · 17/11/2014 18:48

And shredded leftover brisket with spring onions (or any onions) mixed with mayo and either mustard or horseradish.

justmuddlingalong · 17/11/2014 18:56

Lurpak butter, slices if brie, with marmalade and cracked black pepper. Fattening but delish. I count the orange in the marmalade as 1 of my 5 a day. Confused

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 17/11/2014 19:00

I love Brie, bacon and cranberry.

The DDs love Nutella.

morningsarepants · 17/11/2014 19:01

My favourite as a child is weird, but delicious! Mix grated cheese with grated carrot, add a few peanuts and bind together with a little mayonnaise (really little, so just to bind but avoid the Mayo taste).

But the true family favourite is crunchy peanut butter and marmite together. It has to be eaten to be understood!

Me: Cream Cheese & Honey

HilaryMantelshelf · 17/11/2014 19:13

JazzAnnNonMouse · 17/11/2014 19:19

Someone's probably already said but the name of the company is spelt wrong in the title I think.

I like: BLT or HLT
Dh like cheese and pickle
My girls like anything I give them Grin

mymummademelistentoshitmusic · 17/11/2014 19:21

Tomorrow DP is having southern fried chicken breast and homemade coleslaw on lovely floury baps.

Allalonenow · 17/11/2014 19:23

A real treat here is Nutella and banana, but nothing beats a bacon and tomato ketchup sandwich, unless it's a hot sausage sandwich with lashings of mustard.

My ds is currently obsessed with cheese and green pesto sandwiches.

Dd deconstructs any sandwich, eating filling first, then licking off butter, then eating the bread. I do hope she out grows it...

ChippyMinton · 17/11/2014 19:40

DS1 bacon + fried egg
DS2 Crispy bacon + brown sauce
DD Peanut butter
DH fishfingers + tartare sauce
Me soft cheese, smoked ham + piccalilli

I'm quite partial to a marmalade sandwich Smile

addictedtosugar · 17/11/2014 19:40

All different here:
Me: ham or salami with cucumber. Must be spread with butter.
DS1: egg mayo and cress, or prawn mayo
DS2: chocolate spread and banana
DH: anything goes.

choccyp1g · 17/11/2014 19:44

Me: chicken and Mayo with lots of black pepper
DS: the same plus cos lettuce.

On ciabatta rolls BTW, never sliced.

Though I do like Warburton s seedy brown stuff for toast..with maple syrup for me and lemon curd for DS

DurhamDurham · 17/11/2014 19:45

Me: Bacon, Brie and grape.
Husband: Fishcake and tartare sauce
DD1: Tuna, tomato and mayonnaise
DD2: Salami, tomato, cucumber and sweet chilli sauce

caker · 17/11/2014 19:51

DD likes cream cheese and peanut butter. It's quite nice! I like tomato sandwiches with plenty of salt and pepper.

mipmop · 17/11/2014 19:59

I like cheese and tomato on really nice brown bread.

Baconknickers · 17/11/2014 20:28

We like "mouse" sandwiches which is like a cheese sandwich but cheese slices on the outside and bread in the middle- yum ...
Otherwise, we love cucumber sandwiches just like the queen or meaty sandwiches (so ham, chicken or turkey) with tomatoes cucumber and lettuce

DifferentNow · 17/11/2014 20:33

No one likes the same in our house. DH likes cheese salad, I like salami and tomato and the DC change their minds with the wind between ham, cheese and tuna.

Cherryjellybean · 17/11/2014 20:39

Dd likes 'butter sandwiches'.
Dh homemade plough mans with some meat in.
Me ham cheese and crisp sandwich
:)
Us adults would eat most sandwiches dd is more fussy, and would like her filling separate :)

Pinkypurrrfect · 17/11/2014 20:41

We are stuck in a rut in regards to sandwich fillings, generally its cheese or ham, or my favorite a Toastie Grin either way, we go through so much bread it unbelievable. Cant wait to see the movie :-)

Roseformeplease · 17/11/2014 20:50

Ham, cheese, cucumber and Branston pickle is, in fact, the King of Samdwiches, although Egg Mayo is a close 2nd. Or Smoked Salmon.

DS eats cheese, tomato and pepper sandwiches. DH eats anything and usually snacks on bread folded round cheese. DD is a bit of a cheese and meat monster - no green stuff though.

This is making me hungry!

Babycarmen · 17/11/2014 20:54

tomato and avocado! YUM Smile

TyneTeas · 17/11/2014 20:55

My lot can't get enough toasties at the moment

Ham and cheese (often with reggae reggae sauce spread on the bread) then the outside buttered lightly before toasting to go extra crispy
