What have you enjoyed taking part in this year? Or appreciated reading about? What would you like us to product test next year?

Most of the product tests are on site but we also do a lot of projects with our lovely research panel, as well as often giving them the heads up about the latest things and chances to win on site. Lastly - it's with much sadness that we report KatieBMumsnet is sadly off to pastures new at the end of the year Sad.

I didn't get selected for anything despite filling in every surgery I was eligible for.

I'd like to see more trials aimed at teens.

I will try anything. And I mean anything. We are a big family with lots of different needs so nearly all of the testers this year have applied to us. I am just sad not to be chosen for as much! The big one we got which we enjoyed thoroughly was the Premier Inn / Table Table restaurant dinner which was lovely. Other bonuses were Method and Mr Muscle testers and I am sure we did much more.

Whatever you bring out I am sure I will apply for but not baby stuff for me as I am not having more at present!

Cleaning, eating, gadgets, clothes, everything.

I enjoyed testing the Bisto stock melts, but that was probably last year - and I got a nice selection of "Joseph Joseph" pot stirrers as a thank-you which have been a great addition to my kitchen - wouldn't go back to wooden spoons now unless I had to!

Haven't been asked to test anything recently - can you check I'm on your list as I'd love to test something else

Tested a couple of things here, Cadbury pebbles, National Trust family friendliness, oh and a Samsing Galaxy Active 4 mobile phone, which I love!!

Would like more food to test and child friendly lunchtime snacks and some decent kitchenware.

Thanks for the opportunity ot take part.

I don't think I have tried anything this year, I was chosen for the coleman packets but DS2 decided to show up 5 weeks early and I became a bit distracted!

I have in the past tried Metanium (which I now buy all the time and still have their wipe clean planner on my kitchen wall), eco cleaner and the Chicco toy test. I wasn't too sold on the Chicco toy at the time due to a height issue but actually my DS1 loved it and it's still in the garden for him when we have some dry weather (I would be happy to change my feedback for that one, if you like).

I'm another one who is going to the Pampers factory in January and I am really excited about that one! It's the only nappies and pull up pants that we use now, for both the kids, so I cannot wait to go and see all the demos etc.

I do like filling in the surveys that get emailed to me, when I catch them

I'd also love to try one of those robot hoovers! Also a make up trial, it's always good to get away from feeling like "just a Mum" occasionally. A baby clothes one would be good too!

Good luck Katie. :)

Really enjoy reading the product reviews. I've filled out a few surveys, but don't think I'm on a panel. (Am I ?!) Would love to test out products. (Sigh...)

Oh, forgot to say - could you test clothes for pre-teens? Also more household goods - food processors & bread-makers vary a lot.

I really enjoyed going to both screenings - cloudy with a chance of meatballs and despicable Me 2. I even met someone I knew but didn't know she was a mums netter! Product-wise I tried Method and was really impressed and nothing else was sent although I applied for lots of things. Would like more toys for older children to test - happy to do most thing really Wink

I would like to see more smaller product tests. I really rely on reviews to choose things I buy, esp electrical stuff things like irons, home phones etc

However I won a brand new top of the range washing machine and tumble drier this year so I can't moan about not being chosen ever again Xmas Grin

Gosh we have had a lovely year thanks to insight

the George Foreman Day was great fun; I learnt some new ways of using a George and met someone I had been chatting to online for years Grin

also got chosen to test the Karcher steam cleaner which has revolutionised my floor cleaning regime (and even got me some new cushionfloor since the first go took up the edges of the self adhesive tiles; mental note to self...if in doubt, read the instructions Blush )

Minions and Cloudy 2 were brilliant days out; the kids had an absolute blast and I really enjoyed them as well, meeting MNers and some HQ staff and enjoying all that was on offer. Kids still talking about them months later :)

We had two sorts of crisps, have been picked for Flora (even though no voucher as yet!!) and I'm sure there was something else? some garnier face cream? though thet may have been the year before!

Great stuff; thanks very very much for the opportunities MN Grin

And Gook Luck for the future KatieB Smile

We were really lucky in the Sweet household to get to go to Chessington World of Adventures & the Cloudy 2 screening. Both were a distance from home, but we made them into a family trip with the dc's & had lots of fun doing so. Actually we have been extremely fortunate this year as we also got to do a Table Table review in Lincoln which turned into a fab day trip. So lots of lovely family experiences thank you

I also was a Clinique tester which has grown on me and I think the shade I got suits my winter complexion better. We also taste-tested hoops & crosses, rice puddings for toddlers. This has been great for my dd who is now becoming quite vocal about products & likes that her opinion matters to someone (as does the rest of the family!)

Food & experiences have gone down well with us. Electrics would be good and things that happen around the country would also be brilliant. I do like reading other mners reviews of cinema screenings or places to visit as it is always good to have a parents perspective before setting out so that you can prepare yourself & the rest of the family!

I like filling out surveys on my commute into work, it helps pass the journey. Keep it all coming - it's a blast! Thank you

My favourite was the supermarket testing. Felt like a secret agent taking photo of the store demo people !
The Fissler one was great too - got a fab new stock pot
I enjoy filling in the surveys as it passes the time on commutes.

Filled in loads of surveys but not been chosen as a tester/reviewer yet...always wonder if it's my age, DC age or where I live which rules me out!
Not sure what to request in terms of further products to review as there always seems to be a good mix of stuff. notthatieverseeanyofit Xmas Wink

Good luck Katie

I was only selected for a product test once, so I don't know if its relevant to all, but worth mentioning just incase...

We had a delay in recieving the goods (Helmans mayo) & when it did arrive it was school holidays here, so not able to test properly as per the brief & by the time were DCs back at School (& DH back at work) so I could do it properly - it had finished Confused

So maybe more leeway with time to allow for delays would be helpful to testers :)

I loved being part of the toyota extended test drive, it was really amazing and we are seriously considering a hybrid for our next car.

We didn't receive the Mr Muscle cleaner, although I got an email saying we had been selected and the chocolate forum has been really interesting, albeit a bit repetitive in terms of the questions and concepts.

Agree more product tests would be good, household stuff like a vacuum, as I will need a new one soon and I tend to consult mumsnet for my household electrical purchases

Have loved taking part in the panel and thanks for all the great opportunities!

did a few tests last year, none this year Sad
I've completed lots of surveys this year tho Smile
we'd absolutely love to go to some of the film previews or days out, we've mostly given feedback for food items so far.

I only seem to get different types of cheese to review....chocolate would be nice for a change.

Dd2 and I enjoyed meeting other mumsnetters at the Mothercare event, which helpfully was at my local store, she loved her goody bag.

Dh also seemed to like the Barclays panel test he went to.

Hopefully we can look forward to some more items and events in the NY.

We've enjoyed all that we have tested this year, I can't remember if the youview box was this year or last but we are still loving it. I love the technology based reviews even if I'm not chosen to test as I like to keep up with what's coming out and I value other mumsnetters reviews as they don't mind saying if something is rubbish!

I have enjoyed things I have tested in the past, but I don't think I have been selected at all this year, so I suppose I would rather be selected! I would also like to know why. Perhaps I am too average!

I quite enjoy filling out surveys though, and I particularly enjoyed winning a competition. Thanks mumsnet!

I've loved being part of the surveys and tests, been lucky and tested Mr Muscle kitchen cleaner, which was good, and the cadbury pebbles, which my DS loved using to decorate cakes with.

The chocolate forum has been good, although the questions were repetitive sometimes, I've enjoyed shaping the future of chocolate!
