So, what are your favourite hot drinks? Do you like to start your day with a latte or cappuccino? Maybe you drink gallons of tea each day? Or do you keep it very simple with the odd espresso?

Are there any coffee shop drinks you wish you could make at home? Perhaps a Latte Macchiato Caramel? Or maybe a hot chocolate topped with marshmallows? Have you ever tried to recreate these at home? Coffee to wake up and when I get the time to relax. Tea at all other times.

I would kill for a cappuccino in the morning - especially if DS has had a broken sleep. Use to be the same at work, coffee to get you through.

DH on the other hand gets all wintery and often has hot chocolate.

I can't start my day without a cup of black coffee, I'm loving Milicano at the moment as it's whole bean instant so taste's like proper coffee.

I would love to be able to make some of the seasonal specials that they do at costa like Pumpkin latte or Gingerbread latte.

In an ideal world I'd love a decent latte to start every day! I mainly have plain ole coffee with milk when I have walked the dog. Then tea for the rest of the day. I'm not fussy about the brand of tea but usually buy Yorkshire teabags.
I do always have peppermint, camomile and cadbury highlights in the house.
If out and about I would usually buy a letter or a hot chocolate... mmmmm! In Australia I loved iced coffee but have never found a decent one here.

I drink Chai throughout the day but mid afternoon I always have a mocha.

Just one of those sachet ones but I do dream about getting one of the coffee capsule machines to see if their mochas are nicer.

I LOVE a good skinny chai latte! at home or at a coffee shop/cafe. They taste amazing! I also love a cup of chai tea with a bit of honey! Yum! Would love to own a Tassimo, it is definitely on my wishlist!! :)

Lady Grey tea for me. 2 cups in the morning = awake and human. It's dawned on me that I'm turning into my Mum, as soon as I get in from anywhere I need a nice cup of tea

I love gingerbread latte, at home or out. But my FAVOURITE drink is a coffee whilst watching the dcs drink hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. It's never not a pleasure to watch.

My Tassimo is well used. We are awaiting our next delivery of T-Discs. We use it for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I would love to have one for work.
My favourite drink is probably the coffee my DH makes me first thing every morning. If I'm running to late to drink that one there is a lovely coffee stand at the train station where they know I need a skinny hazelnut latte

When it comes to tea I drink it black and lightly brewed and have a preference for fragranced teas like Earl Grey or jasmine.

I love really chocolaty hot chocolate, none of the rubbish you get were you add water. i like to make my own were i melt chocolate in a pan and add milk to make it really creamy. if im feeling cheeky ill add squirty cream, marshmallows and chocolate sprinklers!! what more could you want, a perfect hot drink.

Black tea, I am weird but tea just wasn't made for milk.

Agree with you 100%, sharond101. Putting milk in tea is like putting milk in Ki-Ora!

I drink tea and I love all different varieties. I don't drink coffee but I imagine a tassimo would be good for hot chocolate.

I love the continental hot chocolate you get where they melt actual chocolate into milk ... Like you get at Paul and even nicer at R Garcia at Portobello Rd Market... Coffee wise a lovely Monmouth flat white.I love coffee and I love a proper hot chocolate . My parents have a tassimo and I am very envious because the caramel coffee is especially delicious and it makes a lovely expresso .i have not tried every coffee in the range but the tassimo is part of the reason we are going to theirs at Christmas !

I love black coffee. Espresso or Americans or filter.

I'll drink a hot chocolate,the best is clipper organic IMO. Can you get that in a tassimo? That'd make me really really want one!

Hmmm I have a few 'occasion' drinks..

Shopping = Hazelnut Latte

Bonfire Night (and any other night I can sneak one in ;) ) = Hot chocolate and Baileys

Or Tea...normal, english, Tea.

I love a caramel latte - one shot so I can taste the caramel!

Also like tea, luxury hot chocolate (lots of whipped cream) and Twinings Lemon and Ginger Tea.

My fav drinks are a hazlenut latte when having a chat with friends and a nice hot chocolate with marshmellows with my daughter esspecially on christmas eve lovely

I would absolutely love a Tassimo machine so one is most definitely on my wish list!

I really like this time of year when the coffee shops start selling Mint Hot Chocolates, and Gingerbread/ Eggnogg Latttes.
Gingerbread lattes are my favourites, though! :)

I like making hot chocolate and adding a slug of baileys -its so delicious and very warming on a cold winters evening.

I'm the odd one in a family of tea & coffee fanatics.

My mum can't (won't) get out of bed in the morning until my dad (or me/my brother when we lived at home) has brought her up a cup of tea. My dad gets up and makes the yea then they have a cuppa together in bed every morning. He takes a cup of tea in to anyone else staying overnight too.
The kettle seems to be constantly on the boil for tea or coffee. Nothing fancy. Just make sure you warm the pot, put the milk in the cup first and don't even think about making tea by putting a teabag in a mug.

DH likes nothing more than to make himself a giant pit of tea and drink his way through it on a morning off. His favourite tea is Barry's Classic, but anything will do. He makes his tea in a mug and adds the milk after.
For the rest of the day he switches between tea and coffee, but can't go too long without a hot caffeinated beverage.

My brother likes tea, but loved coffee. he likes it strong and black, but not instant.

Gallons of tea at home but mainly drink coffee when out. I've tried (borrowed) a couple of coffee capsule type machines but they never taste as good as a coffee shop made one.

I drink a lot of coffee, two reasons, i need the caffeine with a new baby and 2 elder boys, the second, its quicker to make than tea an i dont have to faff with teabags.

I'd like a coffee with a chocolate shot in it

Hot chocolate with mint syrup
Steamed milk with caramel syrup
Or good old tetley tea
