The team at TASSIMO would like to know about Mumsnetters favourite hot drinks.

Heres what TASSIMO have to say: "TASSIMO has all your favourite drinks from the brands you love such as Costa, Cadbury, Kenco, Twinings, Milka, Carte Noire and Suchard. With more than 35 different drinks for you to choose from, including classic Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Espresso, Hot Chocolate and Tea, yours will be ready at the push of a button. Its as easy as one, two, tea."

So, what are your favourite hot drinks? Do you like to start your day with a latte or cappuccino? Maybe you drink gallons of tea each day? Or do you keep it very simple with the odd espresso?

Are there any coffee shop drinks you wish you could make at home? Perhaps a Latte Macchiato Caramel? Grin Or maybe a hot chocolate topped with marshmallows? Have you ever tried to recreate these at home? Or do you consider them to be an occasional treat? If you're a tea drinker, do you like to stick to your favourite brew or try new varieties?

Whatever your hot drink of choice is, TASSIMO would love to hear about it.

Theyd also love to know whether you have a TASSIMO or whether it has made it onto your wish list. If you have a TASSIMO, tell us what you love about it! Feel free to share any of your TASSIMO recipes from your repertoire.

Everyone who adds their comments to this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a TASSIMO T20 and 2 packs of T DISCs worth £109.

Please note your comments may be included on TASSIMO's social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

I start the day with a cup of tea or on occasion I'll treat myself to a costa coffee. I don't like instant coffee but would quite happily drink a latte everyday if I could.

I don't have a tassimo but my friend does and I love their creme brûlée latte. Its by far the best coffee I have tasted so much so I have to keep inviting myself over to hers to get one! Seeing her use her tassimo machine I was shocked at the ease and I would absolutely love one for myself especially if they would bring out seasonal syrups to go in the regular latte. Imagine being able to have a fancy coffee every day!

Skinny caramel macchiato is my current fave coffee of choice. As it gets into winter I love gingerbread lattes and if I'm feeling really indulgent a latte with a big slug of Bailey's hits the spot nicely!!

I LOVE soya cappucinos but have never mastered it at home. The bubbles are always too busy when I make it with my frother.

My friend has a Tassimo and it's great, even just for making one cup of hot water

I would like to have a coffee machine that gives me a fast, smooth, non-bitter tasting aromatic coffee; with a good creme finish, delivers it quickly and the end product is HOT (not Luke warm!) Grin

Skinny latte for me.

A Tassimo is on my Christmas wishlist.

My friend has a Tassimo and I love her lattes. Her boys use it to make their own breakfast hot chocolate.

We're getting a bottle of the new chocolate Baileys to make alcoholic mocha this weekend.

I have a Tassimo, the original model and I love the fact that it's so fast and easy and I can have a cappuccino at home.

However, these days I drink only decaff and wish you would produce more decaff drinks, like mocha and cappuccino and latte. Caramel macchiato would be great and more accessories, ie syrups, cups/mugs/glasses that are the correct size for your cappuccino or latte (it's very difficult to find a stylish cup that is the correct size for cappuccino) and not ridiculously expensive.

It would also be great if the milk topper for cappuccino and latte is actually milk or cream and not the weird mixture it is now.

I start every day with a coffee, I can't function until I have had it!

My favourite hot drink is a latte and I wish I could make it as well as they do in my favourite coffee shop. I also absolutely love hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. Very indulgent but makes me feel all cosy!

I don't have a machine, I would love one so I could make nice drinks at home, I keep eying them up and putting one on my wish list. Imagine having your favourite drink on the lush of a button instead of me having to make it....and everyone else's!

Tea. Two cups. Hot. Then I begin to function first thing. Something fairly robust like red label or pgtips.

Tea mid morning, or a really good freshly ground coffee - could do with a tassimo so that every cup is as fresh as the next one. A nice rich roast, not too strong. I have a bodum frother pot if I fancy a cappuccino and that does an amazing job.

Mre tea in the afternoon, often herbal. Sometimes a hot chocolate if I've been on a chilly walk with the dog - if we have the luxury of having some squinty cream in I'll put that on top. I have a way of mixing the hot choc granules so that the drink is really rich and frothy. Mmmmm

My favourite coffee is a soy hazelnut latte with an extra espresso. I love a mocha too.

Everyday drinks are camomile, peppermint and nettle teas.

Husband loves a chai latte. We do have a Tassimo, £30, thanks to a Costa Facebook offer Wink. We have a large selection of the teas, which OH loves. My only gripe is the milk with the lattes. It makes the chai's v. expensive and OH is dairy free. It would be much better if you could buy the Chai discs in a pack of 16, like the other teas Smile.

I wish there was a choice of decaf coffees for the tassimo too. That would be superb.

I love nothing more than a thick, creamy hot chocolate. All the packet ones for at home seem watery, but nothing says comfort in the autumn/winter like thick hot chocolate.

I'm also very fond of a flavoured latte, spiced pumpkin, gingerbread, caramel... Yes please!

So, what are your favourite hot drinks?

I love gingerbread latte on a work day when its all cold outside, but my absolute favourite is Costa's Black Forest hot chocolate, its so yummy and warming and cosy.

Do you like to start your day with a latte or cappuccino? Maybe you drink gallons of tea each day? Or do you keep it very simple with the odd espresso?

I alway start my day with a good plain coffee (alongside my toast and marmalade), simple, but you can't beat it.

Are there any coffee shop drinks you wish you could make at home? Perhaps a Latte Macchiato Caramel? Or maybe a hot chocolate topped with marshmallows? Have you ever tried to recreate these at home? Or do you consider them to be an occasional treat? If you're a tea drinker, do you like to stick to your favourite brew or try new varieties?

I wish I could make a nice creamy hot chocolate, however I try to make it at home, it always just tastes weak and meh. I dont drink tea very often but when I do, you cant beat the malty taste of an Assam tea in the winter or a nice cup of Lady Grey in the winter.

Do you have a TASSIMO or whether it has made it onto your wish list

I would really love one, seriously, but after two pay cuts and a pay freeze at work, childcare costs and general living costs, its moved onto the 'one day I will treat myself to one of these' wishlists....

I've quite liked this thread as its given me ideas for nice drinks! I have recently become lactose intolerant which has been annoying as I love a good caramel macchiato. I have swapped normal black tea (as I don't like the taste without milk) for Lady Grey or green tea or white tea. i have recently, at a Starbucks franchise tried a soy milk latte which was nice.

I like to start my day with tea as I don't like to do anything complicated. I would definitely like to do a fab (soy or equivalent) hot chocolate at home and a fancy caramel coffee.

I don't have a Tassimo but have a Dolce Gusto which has been redundant since the lactose intolerence discovery. I have used a Tassimo in a holiday rental recently and made a normal coffee with Almond milk and it was very nice indeed and the machine was very easy to use which was good as there were no instructions for use left out! I also liked the little progression monitor telling me how far along my coffee was Smile.

Oh I should add, I had a Tassimo but it broke after many years of use, I can't afford a replacement. Sad

We have a Tassimo T40, however as someone who doesn't drink tea or coffee I would love to see the range of hot chocolate expanded.

Rocket fuel strength coffee in a bucket in the morning. Tea for the rest of the day. Proper, mug staining tea. None of that wussy little widgey bag stuff.

At home I wish I could reproduce the hot chocolate you get "on the continent". That stand your spoon up in it sort. Have tried, but never mastered it.

I did consider buying (very demanding Italian) dp a Tassimo, but after our debacle with Another Brand of This Sort of Thing a year or so back, I wavered.

I could be tempted though Wink

I don't like tea or coffee... I like hot chocolate but only have one occasionally due to the calories! If I am having one though, it needs to be the whole hog with cream and marshmallows. I've found that the Green and Blacks cocoa is the best.

DH meanwhile drinks a lot of tea while at work. But he rarely drinks hot drinks at home since we've got one small child and another on the way. Neither of us are that fussed and are just as happy with a cold drink, thus negating any risk of scolding via a spilt drink.

However, friends and family that visit us often despair at our woeful selection and provision of hot drinks!

Another vote for chai lattes here! I'm not a fan of chain coffee stores and tend to invite people round to my house quite a lot so to have one in the house would be amazing and much-appreciated by my clients and guests!

I like to start the day with redbush tea, then go on to at least four mugs of strong cofee without which I cannot function. But in the afternoon in the winter I love elderberry cordial. I make at least twelve bottles of it every year to get me through the winter.
