Channel 4 have asked Mumsnet to find out what you think about their new series of One Born Every Minute (starting today, Monday 10th January at 9pm). We've recruited a special panel of volunteer viewers to add their comments to this thread. The panel are a mix of Mumsnetters, all of whom are parents, some pregnant, some not, some have seen the programme before, others haven't.

They would also love any other Mumsnetters - ie folks NOT in the panel - to add their comments here. Anyone who contributes to this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one winner, drawn at random, will win a £50 Amazon voucher.

We'll also be having a thread after the second programme, next Monday.

I don't think I'd have agreed to be filmed pre-labour, but if a TV crew had walked in halfway through, I wouldn't have cared less!!

I've been trying since the start of the show to link this thread to fb, it's still not done it

kingprawntikka - considering I told pretty much everyone to fuck off continually during labour and kicked the doctors out twice with threats of violence and that I was going home. No I would not welcome the cameras.

Why is it I've never cried when I had my own baby but I cry when I watch someone else have one?!

I'm kind of impressed by screaming woman allowing herself to be shown screaming like that and smiling about it. Think I prob would have been very embarrassed after but impressed that shes not.

I get the feeling that we're going to see a section next.
