Hi, I sent off for a MR on the 1st of July and was sent a message yesterday confirming this and it says 25 week wait, would that be from when I sent or when they confirmed as that’s a 9 week difference 😳

Hello only just sent my child's paper work in had a message saying they have the paperwork and can take upto 25 weeks my child turns 16 on the 10th of December shall I just start doing paper work for pip now ? Thanks

Hiya. Yes was NC. I sent two pages essay of written information and description of needs etc. send Autism diag, list of needs from doctor and school plan.

I’m the 10th of July NC was told last Thursday I was in between two ques 🤷‍♀️

I had a phone call from dla this morning (mr submitted on March 17th) they asked questions about my child’s birth cert and then asked questions about my bank and why the last name on my account is different to that on the form. Has anyone had this? My anxiety is through the roof 😬🤣

I called the DLA appeal people - apparently its 9 months at least for a court listing date 🥺 - submitted dd's in Feb!

Hi does anybody know with the carers allowance can they back date it to when you very first applied to dla? Says online something about 3 months just wondering if anybody else has done it to their original date.

Yes when you apply for carers allowance you put the date they have been awarded from and it will be backdated to that date, you don’t need to ask for it and carers allowance gets done quickly it took around a week for mine to be done
