I called last week on Thursday as I had received my DS amended EHCP, and they said it wasn’t assigned to anyone yet. Going to ring this week at some point to see if my new evidence has been scanned on x

Called this afternoon and got through.
SD 22/07 for both my children’s applications. DD1 was awarded MRC care 18.09.25 and that came through overnight. DD2 was awarded MRC and LRM on 19.09.25 and apparently that will come through overnight tonight. I’m so relieved! Haven’t received texts or letters yet but when I called and pressed 4 the lovely lady broke it down for me. Just wanted to give some hope to those waiting.

Congratulations, I have 2 new claims from June. Hopefully I hear soon.

My scan date was 22/07 so hopefully you’ll hear super soon. I had no idea how much relief this would give me. Fingers crossed for you.

Surely you should of heard by now have you called ? Its not right they say they do it in date order but clearly dont x .

I called last week. When I mentioned that on Facebook and here people are being awarded from July scan dates the call handler said I wouldn't believe what you read on the Internet.

I ended up putting a complaint in and spoke with a manager. Who stated ahain its in date order. However he acknowledged that claims were going through quicker and I should hear soon.

I will call again at 15 weeks.

When i called a few weeks ago they told me the forms are issued to DMs in date order but if 1 DM is on annual leave for 2 weeks and the other one is working all the over time, thats how they the end up with a diffrence in dates as obviously the one doing over time or what ever will have their done quicker which makes sense but its still infuriating

I've finally calmed down from the outcome of my COC lol. What is the process for MR and how long does it take if u go down the financial hardship route?

hi everyone now that I’ve reported my awards to the UC asking them to verify and backdate. Does your next statement change or how long did yours take to sort out?

I’m still waiting on uc I reported my change on the 15th August they took 4 weeks to verify my children then I asked for back pay and they sent it to the decision maker 8 days ago and haven’t heard anything back yet

Im currently on hold to them ive asked to make an official complaint . Week 26 of m/r and its disgusting a year all in all ive been waiting how they think that's acceptable is beyond me . Fobbed off everytime u call with its taking longer than normal .

She basically said a manager will call me back and if im still not happy they will log a complaint because I asked for a reference number for my complaint . I hate to complain I no everyone is in the same boat waiting , ino they are under pressure but its just not fair how long we have to wait .

I know it takes so long doesn’t it i get told different things each time I ring I put an MR because on renewal they dropped my DS to low care rate from high rate care been really struggling these last few months too with such a big drop xx

My ds claim was a renewal declined last September done mr declined again in March doing tribunal since end of march still no date 12 months in total tomorrow he has adhd sleep problems anxiety on medication sent loads of evidence he was on hrc lrm for about 4 years previously but I'm not giving up but so everyone is aware it's a long process good luck to you all

Just had a call from dla (MR March 17th) asked about my child’s birth cert and why the address was different and then asked about my bank, which bank and why my name was different on the account than on the form. Said they’d be looking at the claim today, has anyone had this? My anxiety is through the roof😬🤣

Hi. I sent my forms on 19th August and scan date was 22nd August. New claim. I’ve had no letter, no text. But my claim with my other son I received a letter. Does anybody know what date they’re up to yet?

They have just recently started on doing July's. However still a few from Junes waiting

NC 04/06 16 weeks now. Called today and they told me not to call again until 25 weeks🙃

It really is, 44 and a half weeks in total and confusing phone call later and I’m still no further forward. 🤞🏻 not much longer for us both
