Called this morning to see if they received my evidence. Guy told me it can take 2 weeks to show evidence as received!! Is this true!?

Not at all! Mine was delivered last Monday then I called on Wednesday and she said it was scanned onto the system on the Monday. I think maybe it takes a few days to show on their system but not 2 weeks.

My boys scan date is the 10th of July I have called up a few times and been told different things ..but this morning when I call they said it has been with a DC since the 10th of September give them at least two weeks.

Well I rang (COC SD 04/03) and it’s not with anyone yet. He said they are really lagging behind and can’t give a current timeframe.

I phoned just now. New claim SD 22/7. Not with a decision maker yet. Can't give a time frame as it's so busy. "Depends on whose desk it lands on" when I mentioned different dates being awarded before and after mine. Friendly but ultimately couldn't give me any info.

My original scan date was 14-10-24 got declined then MR scan date was 19-03-25 got awarded last Thursday 25 week wait for MR so hopefully you should hear soon

The worst part of this is DD starting pre-school, without the equipment she needs. The fact she has been unable to sit at the lunch table with her peers breaks my heart.

They (like everyone involved in her care) automatically assumed she was entitled to DLA and that they could claim the DAF for her, in order to make ‘reasonable adjustments’. We thought we’d have a decision before Sept.

Luckily they’ve managed to apply for Sensory Inclusion Funding now from LA - praying it doesn’t go to tribunal 💕

so I called asking which is correct and they said there’s no time frame because of how much backlog
the letters are just automated as 15 weeks
but fingers crossed for you that I comes sooner

I don’t think they will say anything until a decision has been made for coc, I ended up called yesterday and asked him to go through all the evidence I have sent in, he said it’s all in a pile ready to be handed over to the dm then said oh your claim is coc we can’t give out information. He was very open to a conversation until he realised I was coc. I have a feeling they have contacted my child’s paediatrician because it’s not the first time they have stated her diagnosis report when I’ve called.

Week 27 for MR my DS gets LC hopefully to get MC missed call yesterday left a voicemail saying they was going to call back this morning can anyone help as to what they are going to ask or is it just straight forward thanks really worried incase they say no entitlement I sent all evidence detail contestant supervision and help with personal care dressing etc however he is only 3 suspected autisum

M/r 25 weeks today. S/d 25/03 Called still not with a decision maker.

My sons scan date is 11th July. I had a phone call yesterday from the decision maker to ask some questions. She said I'll hear back in next couple days with a text. I didnt receive a text but thought I'd give a ring this morning.The woman who answered said a decision has been made but she can't tell me the decision as they don't have access to it but when we applied for DLA for our other child they told me over the phone. Is this true or have I been fobbed off?

They seem to make it up as they go along. If you're desperate to know I'd call again on option 4. Hopefully you get someone more helpful

How long is reasonable to wait before calling back after my MR phone call? I was going to be patient and wait for the letter but it’s been 90 mins and I’m desperate to know!!

It took about 20 mins. Went through any changes and confirmed what was in the forms. Said they would make a decision after the phone call.
