They definitely did reach a decision today Curly, recieved this text not long ago. So things aren’t done in date order, as my SD is 14/04 for COC. Good luck to everyone waiting.

Amazing, I wonder if they had only just made the decision when you called up earlier? Hopefully I hear something soon now they are definitely onto April 🤞 I’m just relieved they have my last piece of evidence now

Thank you, hopefully not to much longer 🤞 I wonder if they was waiting on this evidence cus I’ve moaned so much 😂

Lollipop490 · 08/09/2025 20:35

Sc 01/07 awarded today MRC and LRM can't believe how quick this was for us!

rainbowzebra05 · 09/09/2025 08:03

It’s def not in date order. My NC SD was 13/06 and we’re still waiting. Phones haven’t given any info at all, just some scripted type stuff about long waits and getting a letter when a decision’s made. Going to call again today to see if I get anyone more willing to help!

Oilytoe90 · 09/09/2025 09:10

Anyone calling today? I'm tempted 🙈

ellierose99 · 09/09/2025 09:14

I'm also tempted but not sure i can handle being fobbed off with a rehearsed script😅

I’m on hold atm checking they received extra evidence for COC. Will also ask for an update

Oilytoe90 · 09/09/2025 09:51

I got through after 40 minutes. Not with DM but she said she would expect it to be with one any day now so hopefully I hear by end of week 🤞

Mumofthree1989 · 09/09/2025 10:04

I spoke to them not long ago to check they had received extra evidence. Which they have. I also asked them to pop a note on their system to say that my daughter received her official ASD diagnosis on 26/08 but am waiting for the report so I can send it in. No mention of how long I’ll be waiting.

I was told a diagnosis doesn't help, what you need is proof of needs. In our ASD diagnosis it gave a list of the additional care required at home and school, so we picked these out and pointed to the day/night needs, as well as what mobility issues they have.

I’m assuming her report will state her needs and struggles as this is what lead to the diagnosis. But they already have several reports from the specialist health visitor, the ASD nurse, early years SEN team and two walking diaries

The asd diagnoses report will have a lot of information regarding your child, it’s good evidence, they usually take 3 weeks to come

Hopefully it will contain everything you need. We ended up down the private route as NHS said it would be 3 year minimum wait. But we picked a provider the NHS service recommended.

The wait times are awful so I don’t blame you going down that route. We were extremely blessed to get my daughter such early intervention and a diagnosis when she’s just 3 and a half

I phoned this morning for COC SD 10/03, they said it still hasn’t been looked at yet 😔 It’s weird how they say they’re looked at in date order, but I know people who have sent in COC after mine and have been done.

COC are all over the place, I really don’t know how they can say it’s in date order. It would be nice to know some kind of wait time.

Harrysmummy2016 · 09/09/2025 13:27

I called at lunch as well, COC SD 19.03 and I was told it could potentially take upto another 8 weeks and that we are now in the main queue, but couldn't tell us how long it is going to be, I said that I have seen people with later SD than mine who have had a decision and he couldn't explain it

Meglee93 · 09/09/2025 13:43

Anyone waiting on universal credit to verify their kids? Xx

I’m 22 weeks today and every coc around my scan date had their decision about 21 weeks yet there is still a few in Feb on 28 weeks waiting. They can’t say it’s in date order. I think they just don’t like saying anything until they see a decision has been made.

I actually got through told me ive at the very least another 4 weeks to go. The push the goal post every single time

ZedKhan · 09/09/2025 15:49

I requested a call back from a manager on my call with the agent yesterday after waiting 29 weeks for a COC Sd 24/2 with no updates.

Surprised I did get a call from the agents manager later in the day, just to tell me they apologies for the delay and have 100k applications back log (his words) but has marked mine as asap to be picked up by a DM not that it means much, said could be take them another 3-4 weeks to make a decision once picked up..So I could be looking at 34 weeks. Just sharing what I learnt from the call.
