Brill ill ring Monday i did asked Friday regarding my neice its with dm we shall see he said she should hear within 2 weeks ans I asked to be notified by text

Never rely on waiting for a text they hardly ever come, my claims have never been with a dm for longer than a day so hopefully they will have some positive news on Monday.

Curlycookie5 · 07/09/2025 14:28

@xxstac3yxx Finally received the last evidence to send in late on Friday so they should receive it by 1pm tomorrow. Have you received yours yet?

What’s your scan date? It all over laps doesn’t it because of the wait times. My friends been waiting 6 months for the outcome of her child moving over to pip. Surely if you had to do a MR they would still have to complete it before the change over?

I think it’s 10/03. I think she gets DLA for a while after her birthday, I was hoping to find out before then 🤞.

Hi,

I phoned for the forms on 22nd April, was due to return 3rd June but they received them 28th July. This was due to waiting for help to complete the form from a carers charity (They included a cover letter and said usually 9 times out of 10 DLA will honour it and backpay to phone call date- I can pray).

Anyway I was just wondering if people know where they are up to with NC's and roughly how much longer I could expect to wait.

I phoned today and they said his claim is still in a general queue. I am also waiting for the OT to send their assessment as my little boy is being recommended a safespace bed so that I can add this to his claim. They did say that if a decision is made I can still send evidence up to 4 weeks after and they may change award.

Thanks :)

Yay congratulations, is that the rates you was hoping for? I’ve called this morning I wanted to make sure they add a note that I’ve sent in new evidence and they received it this morning ( I know it takes a while to scan on ) he told me they are still on Feb dates, but it seems most febs and march are nearly done.

It took 25 mins in the end, that annoying music tone 🤯 he’s put a note of my tracking number incase my claim gets picked up before the evidence gets scanned on, probably still a long wait no doubt but I’m just relieved they have all my evidence now

I rang this morning and they told me that if evidence gets sent in up to 4 weeks after the decision date, they will still consider it and change award if needed. :)

Thank you for this, I’ve been worrying I wouldn’t get to send it in on time, all the coc dates are all over the place so I could be waiting days or weeks for a decision.

w/k 20 waiting for M/R 23/4/2025
i called today crying as we are having a hard time atm ( my little girls scooter with seat is broken) my 6yr old refuses to walk at all. I spoke to really nice man who could tell I was clearly upset and managed to put me through to a caseworker. The caseworker was very nice and very understandable. He told me that they are currently working through mid February atm and I am looking at another 8 to 10 weeks which would take it to the 25 weeks plus. He actually was very helpful and even pointed me to charities that could help while I’m waiting. The wait is driving me insane my little girl really could do with the extra help right out now. And I have a feeling it’s gonna be refused again .😢

You’re near the same date as me, my SD is the 22/04/25. The wait is excruciating and exhausting especially when we know what help we need.

i really Hope your little one gets what they deserve. We got declined right time round as well that’s what makes this harder as it’s been 40+ weeks now without anything and just none stop waiting

I think they are finishing off the last of the Feb / March COC now before going onto April, there doesn’t seem many left in those months now still waiting.

ZedKhan · 08/09/2025 11:54

My COC scan date was 24/2

applying for higher rate mobility for my severely autistic and non verbal 9 year old son with mobility issues. Stacks of evidence from doctors reports, echp report ect.

On week 28 now, waiting on the phone queue for an update right now, almost expecting them to say it's still in a queue not been picked up yet by anyone.

Good luck, I’m sure the other Feb COC scan dates are around the same date as yours hopefully you will all hear soon 🤞

As I expected, they said our COC SD from 24/2 still in a "holding queue" not been looked at by anyone yet and it's week 28.

They are doing them in date order so cannot escalate anything to anyone as they do not give a date

She said I should call back on the 24th of Sept where it will hit 7 months waiting, even then all they can say is still in the holding queue and they are doing them in date order 😔
