Have you called? That seems a long time for a new claim based on people’s recent awarded SD

Have you called to see what's taking so long? They might be waiting for the school or doctors ect to get back to them to back up your claim. Least then you can chase up whoever holding up your claim

Yes numerous times got told Friday was with DM then called today & wouldn’t give me any more info just wait for 25 weeks

Nursery haven’t recieved anything off them they did write in the form though
just don’t understand why it’s taking so long be 25 weeks next week
phoned last fridsy they said with decision maker but then wouldn’t tell me anything today just wait 25 weeks

That's ridiculous, call again a decision should of been made by now 🤞 God luck let us know

Must be so hard to still be waiting when other new claims much later are getting decisions. I really hope you get an update soon and that it’s positive news for you.

I've had a send meeting with my daughters school yesterday and when she moves into year 3 they will be seeking outside assessments as she has trouble with her memory and is behind. It's obviously too late to add this in now to her COC 😫😫

Just had a phone call to tell me that have the forms and to wait 25 weeks. Last yr ( December) when I did my 1st set of twins claim it took 18 weeks. My 2nd set of twins will be 3 yrs old then

When I claimed for my 6 yr old just before she was 3 she was awarded HRC and they wouldn't back date it and would only pay it from when she turned 3. I wonder it they will do the same this time.

NC scan date 25/6 … it’s been over a year since I applied and got MRC and LRM for my middle child. My youngest has also got many care needs… we didn’t have much evidence this time around, only his asd report and an old speech therapy report… we are currently waiting for an updated SALT report but had to send it off without as she’s now on sick leave. How do we go about sending the additional evidence once it comes does anybody know please? Many thanks and good luck to everyone waiting!

claim due to end tomorrow rung up today and they said a decision was made monday and you will receive a letter in the post with all the information on it… doesnt sound to good to me😢

anyone had anything similar or being told something similar

Well just had the worst call handler 😬 I asked if I could check to see if there’s any update, after security she said it’s exactly the same as 3 days ago so why am I ringing so much if I only called three days ago. She said I want to let you know calls are recorded and we know when you ring so I’m asking you to please stop calling

They can tell you if use the option 4 l had my renewal this month and she said the system has changed can't tell on option 2 but she transferred me who could tell me, x

I actually rung back about 10 mins ago and opted for option 4 instead and asked when next payment was due and she said 22nd July does that mean theyve carried award on? As was meant to end tomorrow and decision was made on the monday 23rd

This happened to me when DM rang me when l was awarded in 2023 he said they know how many times you ring them all logged in but it was when going through Mr and was waiting a long time and it was overall 25weeks, so didnt ring as much this time around for my renewal, x

Yeah that's what mine done no stop in between, x

renewal- my sons claim was due to end the 5th July I called them today to check, a decision was made on 20th June kept on same rates until his 17th bday.

the only thing now is universal credit they verified my children adjusted the statement said the payment would go in today. I’ve received nothing they said they can’t do nothing until after 8pm when they closed so call back tomorrow has anyone else these issues?
