Informed UC that my child now gets DLA on the 17/06
its all been verified and back date accepted. Does anyone know how long it takes after that?

I’m still waiting to be verified from the 6/06. Seems like the never in a rush when they owe money

Oh. Mine only took 2 days. When I wrote on my journal they replied within the hour.
I wrote to the payment department and to the case handler and it was all done quite quickly.
I received an electronic letter 10mins after updating that they were back dating.

Oh I know that feeling, it’s so overwhelming when they are telling us the award to listen to anything else. I would say you should receive back pay Monday, maybe Tuesday if it was awarded later in the day

Hi ladies..
Has I was declined yesterday.. I asked for statement of reasons.. and it was basically the school..
So I have contacted school and the teacher that spoke to decison maker.. said they didn't even have a full conversation..she didn't say all what she needed to say.. coz of an emergency.. the phone call was cut short..she is gonna phone decision maker back and tell them.and she told them.she was gonna phone back bu he went and made a decison anyway ..disgusting..

as it gets closer I get so nervous lol. Hopefully won’t be too long then maybe get a decision early next week x

I rang and was told my daughter was awarded but it had to go to a different person to see if they agreed with the rates she was awarded, that took 1 week and then had the back pay around 3 days after that.

I phoned and spoke to a nice young lady.

basically they still have not recieved my childs birth certificate and her additional informnation and that it hasnt been looked at by anyone as yet, so im here for the long haul. im 11 weeks scan date 01-04.

Caved in and called today again following last weeks annoying phone call. It’s now with a decision maker! I know this could mean so many things but the women did say someone is literally looking at the case now due to the mistakes they’ve made with not scanning my application on properly and should have a decision within a week or so
