This whole 2 week half term knowing what I know now about the whole HRC and HRM I just can't see why he wouldn't be entitled to it

Same here Crichetmumma90 my landlord is selling up and I’m going to become homeless come 15th may but hopefully my local council will help as I’ve filled out homeless form and someone rang me last week and passed it all on to allocation team and now waiting on my sons DLA claim ..hope you hear from both soon 🤞🏻

I heard from DLA. My son was awarded. New claim sd was 11th dec and decision was made on the 11th April but found out the week after. My son was awarded. Good luck with everything for your claim and housing 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Is the 20/25 week wait from the day I called or the day they recieved the forms back? I rang on Monday 14/04 and haven't yet received the forms. Also any advise on what evidence I should provide. I only have Dr's asd referral, speech and language report, a sleep diary and what aids/adaptations I've made. School won't provide anything as they don't see a problem other than her speech delay.

Scan date will be from when they receive it, but you should get backdated to when you called for the forms.

For my son's first application 2 years ago I sent no evidence whatsoever, too this day I don't even know if they contacted his school or paediatrician.

I would read up further on DLA rates and see where you think your child is and provide evidence of that, I was told that personal statements do hold a lot of weight so if you don't think you've covered enough in your form it's always worth writing something else.

For example I believe my son should receive HRM based on SMI. So I wrote a statement covering all the points of SMI.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if this has worked yet but I personally feel better knowing I provided as much as I could.

Fingers crossed we get to hear soon. it's so difficult not to call but I have read that renewals will be done a few days before. so i for my mind set on the 1st week of may.

So my claim ends on a Sunday, so I was told it would be done by the Friday which is the 2nd May. I'm normally very patient but personally this claim is a big deal for us as a family so anxiously waiting the results

can I please ask what evidence you gave in and how old your child is? I gave so many reports from professionals and gave numbers to my sons nursery , I had a really good speech and language report so hoping it will be enough I wrote a thorough page myself aswel ..good luck to you hun 😊x

ours is the Monday hopefully they do it the week before. it's 2 weeks to the day for our renewal so hopefully hear in the next week.

Questionnaire filled in by senco for autism assessment
A letter from opticians confirming her squint because she got referred to the children's for it

Awaiting to receive autism report she was only diagnosed 2 weeks with autism so I will send that too

And I will be sending a day/night written by myself and a personal statement, which you will find on here about 3 pages back because I posted it on here to see others opinions

I never had the second fill in anything I asked my GP instead

My daughter is 6, never done this before so its all new to me x

I sent the letter to confirm he’s been accepted to go on the list for a paediatrician but it’s like a 3 year waiting list here for that..tried going to the optician with my little one but he’s got sensory issues if you touch his ears head etc he doesn’t like it , has the biggest melt down if the GP just checks his temperature 😞

Yeah just send anything you have even If you have any extra letters send them off as extra evidence to dwp address and if you do i've been told to add your national Insurance name and child's name and d.o.b
My daughter was referred to paediatric at around 4 and had her assement in January 2025. She is 7 this June. Long wait for assessments but fortunately dwp don't go off their diagnosis just their care needs. I waited till now to apply because they have a tendency off saying certain things are normal for their age, but she's at the age now when she should do things such as dress herself and do her teeth but she will point blank refuse. She got referred to childrens for her eyes because the optician couldnt do it she wouldnt sit still x

Hi ladies can someone help me with my backpayment
so my son was on middle rate care he was now awarded high rate care low rate mobility
we waited 26 weeks
and the amount I recieved was £1263.60
does that sound about right?

my DLA payment was due tomorrow also does the amount above include my new award amount which I was told around £590 (if I remember rightly) if so it just seems low to me

i’ve never done this before so apologies🤣 but it does seem a little low to me? my calculations are 1682.9 give or take, i worked this out by using HRC from 2024 rates at 108.55 - 72.65 (MRC) for 23 weeks/ 1485.8 and then 3 weeks (new rates) 110.40-73.90 for £197.1🤔

is anyone else better at this🤣🤣x

Same SD as mine I got 2 letters so far sayjng sorry for the delay and it could take anywhere to 25 weeks
