Yet again I can't find the thread we started! Shall we meet up again? How about Feb 4th or 18th as a suggestion to get the ball rolling?

Count me in - just tell me when and where! MrsF and coppertop? I think I have to meet you before I leave the UK...

I'd love to come if I can sort childcare

BTW I've found the original thread Davros, so I've bumped it. Hope that doesn't confuse things.

I don't know London well either. I might be able to manage it if dh can get the day off work to look after ds2 and collect ds1 from school.

DOH! Don't understand it, I switched to alphabetical and looked first at SN Meet ups.... there's a few so I must have missed it (I'm famous for mis-reading thread titles!).
Socci, would love to meet you. I'd be happy to go to the place we went to before (Royal Academy in Piccadilly) but I suggested it so I'm biased. What does everyone else think and dates?
Socci, if we're in central london I'm sure we can talk you down on a mobile or meet you somewhere.

I'm in as always! (any excuse to take a day off work). 4th no good for me but 18th is I think fine. It would be fab to meet both of you CT and Socci if you can possibly make it. let us know if there is anything we can do to make it easier for you e.g meeting you at a train station somewhere.

The 18th would be good for me. I'm in town at the theathre that night so could just stay in London all day and night.

Can't do the 4th as we're interning the ashes of D's Godfather in the day and having a family shindig that afternoon and into the evening.

Oh pleaseeeeeee coppertop - I really want to meet you It would be the icing on the cake if mrsf came too

coppertop · 13/01/2005 22:48

I'll do my best to make it - although MrsF has to come too. The 18th sounds better because it makes it more likely that dh will be able to get the day off if he can give them more notice. The 1st half of the month will be busy with ds2's birthday and his assessment so by the 18th I'll need a break!

BH - funny that you were sao nervous at the thought of the 1st meet - now look at you

OH YES - coppertop AND MrsF, WICKED

I'm still only a 'maybe' at the moment though. Dh has just reminded me that he's already booked a week off next month for ds2's assessment so he's not sure if he'll be allowed to take any more time off. B*gger!

Oh no! Maybe we should have another meet up and the Londoners can do the travelling at some point.
I'd love to come to this one if you'll have me

I want to come.....{{bottom lip quivering]]
It's just too far for me to travel in one day....plus I have J home with me and I dont think he would do an overnight stay.
Have a nice time anyway.

I did tentatively suggest a while ago that we arrange a big meet-up one weekend somewhere centralish so that everyone could come. Do feel a bit bad that they are always in London. The idea was that we all get the night off somehow, leaving little treasures with dh/dp/parent/whoever, stay in a cheap b&b and go out and get drunk together .

If people are up for that I am happy to help organise (she says foolishly). But I'm not sure how realistic it is. What do you all think?

That sounds great HITC! I'm in Cambs if that helps. I don't have a car so would probably travel by train/coach.

Dh may possibly be able to get the day off for the London one but as he's having time off for ds2's birthday and the assessment it might be pushing it a bit.

Would love to come and meet you all! But ds has an operation at end of Jan and I have to keep him quiet for 2 or so weeks following op -if its possible to keep a 5 yr old quiet...
