New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

It’s dwp could either be universal credit or dla, they’ll probably try and call again then send a text message saying they tried to call

I Recieved a call from universal credit back in December as I changed my phone number and they had to ask few security questions

I thought so I was awaiting UC backpay. But they left no message. So confused. Nothing on journal aswell x

that is strange as when they try ringing usually they will leave a message on journal hopefully they contact you back soon

Yes it could be dla. I received a call from that number and it was my decision maker

I know! But they called back guys it’s UC verification for backpay hopefully it’s sorted by this week x

Hi there anyone waiting for tax credits back pay? I’m no longer with them but have requested it from April last year they said up to 2 weeks for the letter money will go into bank account soon this was last Monday also if I owe them from when I moved over to uc will the deduct it from what they owed me?

Yeah I did got call from this number she asked about my son night routine after few days I got awarded for his daily care

I was awarded 29/01. Then was was waiting for backpay all this time “verification”. Someone on the thread told me to make a complaint. I made it Saturday. Today recieved letter for backpay and approval. Should get within two days in bank. Hope that helps x

That’s great news x same thing happened to me, as soon as I complained I received my back pay within days

My award ends this week and we got the renewal from 9th October. So around 18-19 weeks ahead?

Ugh I can see over £4250 pending in my account from dla😭😭 this feels so surreal

No I a requested a late mandatory consideration, usually they say it has to be done within a month but I requested it 8 months later after my son was first awarded hrc. And they accepted it. It was for hrm x

after requesting the late mandatory reconsideration back in August my son was awarded hrm last week x hence the large amount I got payed
