I’m actually feeling optimistic today. Not sure why as we haven’t been assigned yet but I think with Christmas closure looming we are soon on to our actual decision month!

Scroller40 · 16/12/2024 13:02

I was shocked, I only called up to request a text message and was told decision made last week. We have alot of support in place, under different specialist, loads of evidence sent and school has been amazing and provided a letter.

laur1994 · 16/12/2024 13:07

Just caved and called.. shock.. most unhelpful person who told me they couldn’t tell me if it was with a DM or not. Why are they all so different! 😩

That's amazing x I'm thinking my son's school is holding things up. It takes forever for them to get back to anyone.

VSLBIRae · 16/12/2024 13:07

Sorry what date was Yr scan date?

Some just can’t be arsed. I think we’ll find that with the run up to Christmas none of them will be bothered

Kc1999x · 16/12/2024 13:12

They are only shut for 3 days so they may as well get done what they can or it’ll just be waiting on their return

At worst end of July could run in to January if they slow down ahead of the shutdown

That’s good news! My evidence has been found today so fingers crossed I get my answer by the end of this week 🤞🤞

Emat19833 · 16/12/2024 13:23

The letter doesn't say much just that they agreed back pay
Fingers crossed then for you this week is your week can feel it

Loudmomma · 16/12/2024 13:36

So I’ve just had a call from them, got super excited for no reason 😭
made complaint last week and got a call back
they told me it’s not done in date order it all goes by how simple the claim is wether it’s a simple straight forward award or decline
if there is lots of evidence and are complicated then these get pushed back, when I rang a few weeks back the call handed did say gosh you’ve sent a lot of evidence so I think they just pick and choose

P1X13 · 16/12/2024 13:38

So i been watching this post for a while now My sd 1st August and got awarded 11th December.....they lost his renewal forms in April and when I called in June they had to send me a new form........keep it up what you are doing ladies

So why do they lie about the date order it’s ridiculous. It’d save a lot of bother

Stillwaiting2 · 16/12/2024 13:47

Well I only sent in 2 pieces of paper and that is school passport reports lol. And I’m 18 weeks today. Surely my claim is simple and easy with hardly any paperwork/ evidence

She said from the handling site they go to allocated offices and it depends on their work force and how quick they are
I said mine would come under West Midlands
she said they are massively back logged and are taking the said 25 weeks so she said mine should be done end of January

Stillwaiting2 · 16/12/2024 13:50

They say something different all the time. Weeks ago they told me it’s with a dm, week after told me it’s 2nd in the queue for a dm… now can only tell me it’s in a queue but can’t tell me where in the queue!! They also told me it’s definitely done in order!! X

Stillwaiting2 · 16/12/2024 13:53

The man I spoke to this morning. Said send in your extra evidence for next day recorded delivery as it will get scanned on and could potentially bump your claim to be seen faster 😂 as apparently that is what has been happening! Well we all know that isn’t true! X

I don’t think I believe anything that comes out of their mouths

But this would be a bit illogical for me. So all the claims go to one place. After that they are getting sent towards local offices? Why won’t theg send them all locally then? If makes 0 sense. I don’t see the people at the handling site sorting through them claims alphabetising them 🙃

I don’t believe anything they say at all
to be honest I don’t think they have a clue themselves

I don’t think I’ll get a text as it is a MR.

Ahh ok. Definitely a decision though!
