You can report the change of circumstances and then pop a message on, don't forget to say you care for them so you get carers element as well as the disabled element for your child if that makes sense

Well I've just come off the phone. The original lady must have had it wrong. Said it isn't with a decision maker and I could have another potential 11 weeks of waiting.
Oh my days, I have no words.
I feel so deflated after thinking that it was with a dm all this time!

They lie all the time just to get you off the phone. I was told my Mr was with a DM week before last and when I called yesterday it isn't

Same! It's so frustrating. I would have respected more to be told from the start that it's in the long queue and to sit tight. I've been thinking a decision was imminent all this time.
Hopefully now lots more are having decisions made, that we aren't too far behind and that the 25 week mark is an over estimation 🤞 however I'm not holding my breath with the dwp.

Could not cope with not knowing called again today S/D 21/5 COC to be told the last time i called it was with DM it’s not it’s in a pile waiting and can take between 15-20 weeks for COC week 18 today. Hopefully I hear soon 🤞

it’s getting worse and worse. The lady even said ‘too many people’ are now trying to claim which is causing a ‘backlog’ - maybe they should just work quicker and more efficiently then?! Gosh my blood is boiling today.

Honestly we got told about 67 different stories the past two weeks. It’s infuriating.

Just called, scan date 03/06 and no change or update. She said call back if not heard by 21st October.
I'm also waiting on a date for a mutual exchange, for which one housing association seem to have gone AWOL on and for an update from child support for a claim against dad's AWOL dad, the responses for which have also gone silent. Feels like such a weird time of limbo, dependent on so many others to get paperwork sorted, and don't know what to do with myself. DD just watching TV as can't get around every day where we live currently (hence the move), school are being crap with her and we're both so bored and trying to save every penny in case we don't get the DLA.

Our sd is 18/06 and I sent his adhd report as extra evidence 2wks ago, which outlines pretty much all in one place the support I added in the form. When I originally called they said I had a letter sent to confirm receipt but I had no letter at all. She advised me 17wks. We will see x

I am exactly in the same position COC declined a while ago and now doing MR. Feel as though they are not even checking the form and just declining. Can I ask what the COC was for? It’s agony another 4/5 months from MR.

How are people getting on with UC verifying the elements? We are on 6 weeks now and just wondering if this is a normal timescale 😂

Mine coc was 9/5. I've had my decision. Hoping letter comes soon for reasons of refusal. Waiting to send of for MR.

Same scan date for a COC, refused also. Dreadful that have to do MR Now but if we don't fight for our kids, who will x

Anyone on here, once you got the letter from UC on your journal about amount owed. When did you receive payment or am I waiting for a second letter? I received confirmation of amount today but that's it! x

They should adjust previous months from scan date in record. Then if the issue the letter that states the exact amount from then 3-5 working days but mine came around 24-48hrs later x
