Understand your anxiety , scan date 17/04 so 19 weeks and I’ve been advised to wait 25 weeks until the 9th October 😳. Hopefully we get awarded sooner rather than later 🤞🏽

Hi there. Bit out of topic but I could use an answer if some of you lovelies could help. I sent my son’s dla form on the 21st of august. I added in the envelope his birth certificate just to be sure they won’t have to ask for it (saw that sometimes the request it so wanted to be safe). I wasn’t expecting to get it back at all, but surely I wasn’t expecting to get it back in a couple of days! They sent it back with special delivery and a note saying “thank you for sending us the document. We made a copy for our records and will be dealing with your claim”. I wasn’t thinking they would ipen the envelopes for like a minth since I saw scan dates are usually after a month after sending. Did they actually scan it andwill be receiving a letter with scan date soon or do they open them all and them pile them up to be scanned at a later dat?

Hiya guys been following for a while now but been a silent watcher just adding a post to help with my anxiety! I sent my forms end of April they received them 2/5 my son is on the pathway for ADHD with CAMHS and has autistic traits but was declined from the neurodevelopmental pathway as they said even tho he has signs of autism from what the senco at school put in the referall he seems more ADHD but since I’ve sent off the DLA application she has done another referal because she said he’s showing more and more signs at school or being autistic but with it being the holidays I can’t get a copy of that referall :( I am just looking for someone who’s in a similar boat to see if they got approved for DLA. I filled in the whole form, got the senco from school to fill in the someone who knows the child and on the back I wrote everything my son does that makes me think he’s adhd/autistic and I sent a educational psychologist report! Do you think this will be enough evidence? I’m starting to worry I’ve not done enough and that I’ll have to do an MR the wait is so long it’s making me question myself. I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and the stress isn’t doing me any good! Hoping to hear back in the next few weeks! Good luck everyone still waiting x

The anxiety is real 🙈 I just want to know already 😂. Scan date 26/4. Haven’t received a single letter or text since I sent application in. Not too hopeful I’ll get a text message with outcome either. Neurodevelopmental appointment has come through for 11th September. Half wondering if I should call them today and ask if I should send it in then cheekily ask for an update. Called last week and they told me to call back on the 13th if I’ve still not heard.

I would call and you haven’t had any correspondence so I feel your justified to call 😂 I plan on calling even though I spoke to them last week. I did plan on leaving it a tad longer but the anxiety 😵‍💫 if I don’t get an information today I think I’l try and hold it off to the 20 week mark as 18 weeks today.

Tried to call for an update but keep getting cut off before I can even get in the queue, must be really busy with it being the bank holiday. So I have given up 🤣

On hold now. Got cut off a couple of times but I’m finally through and on hold 😬

I managed to get through to someone and they kept saying they couldn’t hear me and after 1 minute he hung up. So now I’m trying on my other half’s phone but am cautious that it may be a longer wait as when I originally called it was 9am 🤞🏻

Just got through. We are now with a decision maker, wouldn’t say how long or when it went to it. When I called last Tuesday it was in the normal queue so there is progress. So I think I’m going to wait until 20 weeks before I try again. Fingers crossed to you 🤞🏻

I might call up too. 17 weeks today but due a paed report to send this week 🤔

Just managed to get through. Still no decision made. Have been told to wait until 11th September. Very frustrating, but I’m gonna try to forget about it for a few weeks because I’m driving myself nuts 🤣

Really hope we get the decision we want because Mandatory Reconsiderations are taking 25 weeks 😳.

She said it's still been examined and with a DM. Then I asked if they can tell them to text me if an award has been made and she said she can't do that as it's in the new claims department and hasn't been assigned to anyone yet 🤔 x

Just finished on my call. First Lady told me that a decision was made on 25/08/2024 but she couldn’t tell me the outcome. I asked to be put through to someone that could tell me. Spoke to a lovely lady that said my son has been awarded HRC along with LRM and our claim will be back dated to 27/03/2024. I’ve just cried on the phone. This will open a new world of opportunities for him. Thank you to you all for keeping me sane over the last week. Good luck to everyone still waiting xx
