I'm dead nervous now. I'm 17+1 today, and it looks relatively imminent for a decision looking at these recent dates. But I'm not ringing! I can't do it to myself. 😩

@NoWordForFluffy I'm 17 weeks today and apparently with a dm but also not allocated to anyone and in the new claims department 😂 She did say they're starting to take 20 weeks now x

I called a couple of weeks ago because I hadn’t received any letters or texts to say they had received my application and they told me they had it and to call on the 16/08 for an update. I called last Tuesday I believe and they said they couldn’t tell me anything apart from that it was in the right department and that his case was open. Wouldn’t even tell me if it was with a decision maker. Called back today for an update as I wanted to know if it was worth me sending them the details of his neurodevelopmental appointment but they said the decision had been made on Sunday so I asked to be put through for the outcome. The relief made me cry. It’s been so stressful. Completely understand how you feel. I’m sure you will hear within the week. Call back Friday if the anxiety is too much. Good luck xx

They've been saying that for a while, and there have been loads of awards for the week before ours since they started saying it too.

So, I still think it's close

We've also had people told what you were told today previously, who got awarded that day / the day after.

18 weeks tomorrow for me. The waiting is horrible. My son already receives high rate DLA. I am waiting on a decision for the mobility component because he turned 3 in June. Not holding out much hope bcos it’s really hard to get at a young age.

I'm amazed I've got this far without calling. I called at least 3 times with DS' application! I was more certain we'd get awarded then though.

My scan date is 29/4 just called for an update still no decision made yet she didnt even say if it was with a decision maker just told me that the latest is 16th sep x

I think it really just depends who your DM is and the pile they have to get through as last week I rang and they said mine was in the pile to be seen by the DM and im 2/5 I really just think they’re telling people anything at this point it’s stressful though x

Hi scan date 26/04 called Friday was in holding que, called back just now, it’s now with DM

So just had to go to the job centre with my passport and my daughters passport to prove we are from the UK 🫣 apparently I didn't take nationality on the form!
I have sent next day delivery with the paperwork.
Does anyone know how long it takes for them to put it on the file?
Already on week 19!
They could have just asked me this on the phone really!

DLA are currently in april around 25th april atm so you still got a few weeks left yet x

I'm nearly 16 weeks into my MR and it's just consuming my mind!! I keep constantly refreshing this page and checking to see if I've had a message even though I know it's a long way off yet x

Hi! I’ve also been watching these threads for a couple of weeks. My scan date was 10/05 and not heard anything yet. I’m not going to phone but it looks like it’s getting closer 🤞
I don’t feel like I’ve sent enough evidence now, so not getting my hopes up.

I tell myself I won't call but I know I will call tomorrow 🤣 just to be told the exact same thing I was told last week.
It's the dread of being a decline again. It's horrible when you get declined and there's that glimmer of hope when you do a MR x

@Anxiouslywaitingmum Yeah I'm expecting to have to do an MR. We sent loads and loads of detailed evidence however I don't think I was detailed enough on the forums. Sometimes the DM goes off evidence, others go off forums 🙄 Will have to wait and see what happens I guess! x
