Yes called on Tuesday and was told in the normal queue and hadn’t gone to DM yet.

@chlo94xx i had a payment sent to a closed account (not DLA) and i was pestering who sent the payment. In the end i had to call the bank up and they told me it was held in the closed account and transferred to my new account for me (different bank) it cleared the next day. I would call to save yourself some time. It might not be the same thing but incase it is. You could for ages for a call from DLA for them to tell you to call the bank.

Oh wow, really?! I did ask them a few times is it with a decision maker and they said yes… I think I assume they are looking but may be working the way through a pile? So I’m being slightly impatient.

DLA have asked me to speak to the closed account bank (monzo) but when I did contact them they were useless and couldnt offer any advice or help as my account no longer exists... I rang DLA back and the lovely woman said she has spoke to her manager who is dealing with it and it was an error made by the DM and not my fault and that if he approves the mistake the payment will be resent out today on a same day basis... still waiting for that call back...

It’s frustrating that different people get different answers. When I called Tuesday they said 20 weeks and now yours is saying 22 weeks. They really need to amend their letters and waiting expectations as it’s all over the place 😂😂

I know I think it’s to stop us phoning but they should have a online system or something so we can see the progress xx

I rang back its still eith decision maker waiting for a decision to be made and could still take upto another few weeks depending how many he has to get through

How frustrating! Wouldn’t be as bad if you were guaranteed a message once a decision was made. It’s the unknown that so exhausting.

It really is, they tried saying as soon as a decision has been made I'll receive a text either way, but I've seen so many people on here not get that text, and how can I trust I will when I still ain't even received a letter or message saying they got the application back 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Just had a text to say my daughter qualifies for DLA! Been 17+4 weeks. I did ask yesterday about sending off the autism referral acceptance letter. Not gunna lie the stress of waiting has been horrendous but it’s deffo a weight lifted off my shoulders! Good luck to everyone waiting and I have my fingers crossed for you xxx

Oh that’s amazing!! I’m going to ring tomorrow and see if they can tell me what she was awarded. I know I won’t get mobility as she’s only 3 but be nice to know what we be getting so I can start getting some stuff to support her xxx

Also my scan date was 21/04 so good luck to everyone who’s around the same time not much longer now!!!

The first advisors didn’t give me details of award, I asked and he transferred me through to a lovely gentleman who gave me all the details and I cried!

Received text message (17 weeks today) to say son has qualified . He is getting middle care and low rate mob, does anybody know if he qualified for disabled child element ? And how do I add it onto my UC does it get backdated?

Yes he does and carers if applicable. Report a change of circumstances for your son and request a backpay from when the DLA claim started. If they ask why it took so long for you to request this say you was waiting for a decision from DLA. Congratulations xx

May be a silly question but have you called them? 😞

I really feel like they're just declining COC at the minute, so many are saying the same as you and having to appeal. I'm not holding out much hope to be honest.
