Yeah told me the same thing. Call back at 20 weeks, isn't really helpful at all! I have a paed report I'm waiting to come 😅

I’ve sent his echp, letter from psychiatrist, school behaviour report, his alternative provision filled a section in, his adhd/autism referral and I did a weekly diary. Also advised them of what medication he is taking. A charity helped me with the application as I have adhd and autism myself so find these things really overwhelming. The anxiety I’m feeling is real. Here’s hoping we get some good news soon. Positive thoughts (I keep telling myself that anyway 🙈)

I'm 29/04. Judging by others' awards, I'm expecting to hear next week. I hope!

Seems only 22/04 and 23/04 been awarded so far so might be the week after x

Maybe, but I'm hoping it's the back end of next week. I'm bored of waiting. 🤣 They're a week / 6 days before me, so logic says next week is viable.

@NoWordForFluffy I know how you feel. My girls nursery are relying on it for funding in Sept. We are only a day apart so hopefully we hear soon! Maybe there's lots of awards to come tomorrow and early next week 🤣🤞🏼

My scan date is 24/04 and I haven’t heard back yet 😫 called and apparently with decision maker last week, this week no decision made on it yet but not a decline… its been 17 weeks and 1 day for me x

so frustrated, I was awarded on Monday 19th was told I should receive backpay the following day. Today I rang up due to no payments to find they have sent it to a bank that was closed in May even when I notified them and comfirmed the new bank through security when I chased my application. Now it has gone to a case manager with no time frame to fix :(

I told my little lady we would go to the shop and get some new unicorns and she wont let me forget haha

Can the funds not be retrieved if the bank is closed? I don't think it's allowed to just "disappear" x

That is exactly what I questioned but they said they are unsure and had to send it to a case manager.. no further information or timescale could be given. Im tempted to ring and escalate it further just out of frustration

Did you use the switching service? If so, money is forwarded to your new account for 2 years.

Otherwise, it'll go into a holding account and they'll need to contact the receiving bank to get it back.

They should sort it ASAP as it's their fault, so good luck.

In fact, can you ring the closed bank in the meantime, get the return ball rolling?

Just to update you all. Scan date 30/04….called last Tuesday which was 15 weeks to chase up and was told I wouldn’t hear anything until end of August beginning of September. Let them know that we had been experiencing a lot of disruption and dysregulation and was there anything that could be done to hurry things along. He was lovely on the phone and said he couldn’t promise anything but would mark it as urgent, had a payment go in on Tuesday which was 16 weeks to the day. Based on what others are saying I am expecting back pay to go in tomorrow?? Hope this helps some of you waiting.

The bank it was sent too is fully closed and has been since May, I can't even access it to check if it is there.. I rang DLA in May to change the details which is the frustrating part

That's not what I'm saying, sorry. Did you use the switching service to change bank accounts? If you did, they forward payments into your new / switched account for 2 years. I know you can't check a closed bank account.

I really would call the bank which held the closed account to get them to trace and return that money.
