Mines a renewal. Scan date 20/3.
Award runs out 06/07/24
Called last week no news.
Told to call back few days b4 if I havent heard b4

My son was awarded last Wednesday and payment went in today. It takes 3-5 working days x

I cant believe hiw slow they are being my first sons was done the same day now ive been waiting for it to be verified since 20th already

I’ll deffo be ringing at end of Friday loll 😂I try to hold of till end of day ish anyway just in case but I didn’t today and got a lot further with them 😂

@Sharkay06 I know they are being really slow with it, I know some people who have waited longer than I have too! Fingers crossed it's not much longer for you

Evening everyone ,, so my daughter got rewarded middle rate DLA & she got low rate on mobility.
does anyone know how I can add that information on to my uc account ? I have put 2 messages on my journal but do I have to do anything else to let them know ?

Hi here is how to add Dla to your uc

Hey you have to go to change of circumstances, then people living with you, then press your sons name and answer the questions. Hope this helps.

does anyone know how long wait times are in northern ireland at the minute please?

Anybody that’s been waiting a while for UC backdate. I would advice call the UC helpline as then they will ask to respond in 2/3 days. I found this is the quickest way. Do this after leaving a note on your journal.

I’ve been waiting since 20th may. Left notes and called and all they kept saying is that it’s with the DM. Had a bite today saying the deadline is the 3/7/2024 and to leave a message if they have not let me a message

That's a joke, they sent mine to a dm on the 4th June and I got backpay 21st June so took 17 days for me, keep writing on your journal, they don't realise we have to wait weeks on end for a decision of DLA also.

My SD was 05/01, rejected in April due to a lack of information tbh as we didn't have a lot to send. MR was 06/05 with 5 new pieces of info. We weren't priority as such, but due to issues with support that my son couldn't access until DLA was sorted. A note was mentioned on his file but it wasn't any kind of expedition.

Today we were awarded, I believe it's HRC. I'm going to call at 9am

Congratulations sayasand! 6 months is such a long time to get it sorted but you got there eventually. It helps to know others are going through all this & finding it just as stressful. I think we all feel the burden of responsibility to our children to get them what they're entitled to & the pressure weighs heavily on our shoulders. Fingers crossed for more positive outcomes for all soon 😊

Thank you ladies ♥️ yeah I couldn't agree more, every week I've been checking in with nursery so they know I'm still pushing and calling. My son will get his 1-1 funding now which was the most important part. I've been lied awake at night worrying he will miss out and have to stay home due to no DLA. So a huge weight lifted. I hope everyone gets the awards & answers their kiddos need and deserve. Don't give up!

Congratulations, how old is your son? I’m hoping for Hrc for my 3 and half year old daughter, her preschool is hoping the Dla funding will help towards her having 1-1 in September too because she’s on a reduced timetable at the moment. I always worry about them awarding younger children incase I haven’t made her needs clear enough, she definitely deserves Hrc but we will see if she gets awarded that

Hi! My son is 2.5 (3 in December). My older son has a rare genetic condition, me n dad got tested and didn't have it. My oldest has massive complex needs at gets HRC and HRM as he is 6. They told us it wouldn't happen again but my youngest had too much fluid on his brain during my 20 week scan ( which is a sign for genetic difference), had to have high risk monitoring all through pregnancy and letters were sent from the hospital when he was born to all the specialists he would need. So it was in place before birth even. It's still taken me this long for him since there's been a lot of pushback from people. Don't feel bad about ages and where you are up to, everyone gets there in their own time. The important thing is you aren't burying your head in the sand! You are doing what you can and fighting!

They're ignoring all my journal entries so I'm going to ring today because they've given me no update it information really, it's so annoying after waiting for DLA to then have to wait again xx

Anyone know what the call wait times are like this morning?

Are people still waiting for feb date awards? This wait is too much I thought they would have flew through the last of feb last week but still not seeing many March awards 😩

@Rayne20 Ive just called no decision yet but he said I will hear by the end of the week and they will send a text when it’s been made
