@Emma2345 what evidence did you submit in total x what professionals etc x

were still awaiting the MR outcome but I submitted 2 paediatrician reports stating delays which I mentioned was evidence of global development delay although this didn’t state diagnosis of gdd this was good evidence it was clear it was what he had as he was 18+month delayed in a number of aspects it also stated myself and school he was having to be put in a safe hold regularly (basically be restrained ) to protect himself or other people from harm as he is extremely violent without warning in school and at home no sense of danger awaiting diagnosis of autism speech and language therapy stating he didn’t understand words at key 2 word levels such as even give the carrot to mum no eye contact a letter from the senco and also about complete refusal to walk too

Lindsey89 · 19/06/2024 14:42

We are 5/3 is it worth calling yet we haven't rang once

HonestPanda · 19/06/2024 14:43

Is anybody else being messed about by UC? 5 weeks waiting for a decision maker for disability element back pay and they keep saying there is no timescale on how long this can take! They can see the disability award is active so don’t understand how they justify taking so long to make this decision

Matilde08 · 19/06/2024 14:43

After no one actually answered to me in Blackpool.. I gave a call to DLA and 512 option and after all the security questions I been told decision has been made and I will be transferred to the decision maker office to let me know what's the decision. They put me on hold but I don't know if I accidentally cut of the call or something. Anyways..so stressed I called again and other person asked the same questions, I said I have literally 5 min ago been told decision has been made. She was..oh, OK, then I'm transferring you to them to find out..put me on hold for a while ..me stressing and shaking, and she suddenly comes back with sorry no one is available at the moment and asked me to call back a bit later 🤦🏻‍♀️🤯 I'm passing out here.. what the universe is doing with me here

So I called to see if they've received extra evidence and she couldn't find it 😑🤦🏻‍♀️ she asked me to hold while she spoke to contact centre and then the line cut off...just giving myself a min before calling back because if they've lost all my evidence I think I might lose it

They haven’t turned it down yet I am still waiting for MR we was awarded my sons dla 3 days before he turned 3 so they didn’t do mobility I put in MR for the mobility as they said this was ok rather then just filling in mobility as they didn’t think my son was entitled to it either way until age 5 if that makes sense x

I’d ring them straight back and tell them you’ll wait on hold for someone to be available to tell you you’ve waited long enough xx

This lady said differently when I said I have been told decision has been made by previous call handler. She said: it means you need to be transferred to find out an award then. Any chance they can see but can't tell..or I just overthinking. As obviously I'm thinking the worse.

@Matilde08 I'd take it as a positive? Don't they normally say that when you need to be told rates/payment dates etc?
