DLA wait time thread 42

Hello all! Scan date 22/01, had text today “we are still looking at claim, no need to contact”. People who have been awarded, how long after text did you get a decision?

I had that text on 29/4 and recd text today to say awarded. My scan date is also 22/1.

I just rang to check progress after talking to the DM yesterday who asked some questions regarding support at school.She said she had all the info she needed and I would receive a letter within 2 wks.
Anyway when I rang just now I was told to call back after 3pm due to technical difficulties!
Anybody else experienced this?Or do you think he just couldn’t be bothered to look for me?🤣🤦🏻‍♀️😩xx

that's what worries me the most that after all this waiting they will decline my sons claim as they have never 'faced' such a situation about unusual pension from another EU country. And then I will have to claim again...

called today and my sons claim has changed from MRC LRM to HRC LRM so we are really pleased.

hope everyone else gets answers soon

Scan date 8/2 have only received one letter to say they had received daughter's claim seems like they have caught up to the 15 week mark with majority of claims instead of the dreaded 20weeks+ think these next 2 weeks is going to seem like forever 😆

Scan 19/01 rang for update decision was apparently made just before I called ! My boy got HRC and LRM for 2 years !!! I cried when she told me, I was expecting decline . Just waiting now to see if my other boy gets what he deserves too.

Finally got through to be told my son has been awarded low rate mobility only!
Didn’t even realise this was possible.
Will wait for the letter and statement of reasons.Congrats to everybody today x

Been on hold 35 minutes so far!! Don't think I'm getting through today! She said yesterday that she was working on our claim then, she also said it looks like he should be awarded, but I haven't had a text to say that it's awarded. How long after award date do people get the text? The not knowing is hard!!

Not every one gets a text when awarded. Most only find out when calling or payment goes into account. If it was being dealt with then you should defo have an answer. Stay on the phone or give them a call bang on 9 in the morning

I got through about 5 past they answered. We got awarded yesterday mrc and lrm. So happy
