scan date 19/3. I sent my forms to them 2 weeks previous to this date.

I rang this morning to ask for an update. It’s 8 weeks tomorrow. I have received 2 letter both saying there is a 15 week wait. The lady I spoke to today counted the weeks 🙄 Again. Told me it would be with DM on the 2nd July. I asked if there was a way to expedite the claim. She put a note on the claim but said it’s down to them if they read it and action it. I asked for a text message when a decision has been reached. I am not holding my breath. I’ve been told different things both times I have rang. The last advisor told me it was taking up to 15 weeks to get to the DM then it’s 2 weeks after that for a decision. I am hoping they accept the claim. My little boy is waiting for an appt with SALT. And has been on the waiting list for 12 months now. He is on the ASD pathway. He also has ADHD. He wants to join every club - football, swimming, after school and breakfast club. He won’t stay at home and play. He needs constant stimulation and I just can’t afford this on my own with him. Fingers crossed they come to a decision soon. It’s not fair when you can’t give your child everything they deserve. I work and still can’t manage to find the extra money 😢
