DLA wait time thread 42

Hi, I phoned up yesterday to check that the extra evidence I sent was received which it was and the lady on the phone told me my scan date was the 15/2 but my letter states 28/2 which one do I go by?

Anyone else with a scan date of 30/01?

received two letters, rang monday and the lovely lady said it was in the new claims dept but its coming up to 15 weeks on tuesday coming..

does anyone know what dates they are upto currently?

I just spoke to a lovely lady and to check again if my extra evidence has been scanned on the system which was delivered on the 30th April and it's still not but she's put a note on the system that extra bits have been sent.
Scan date 5/02 and should be going to decision maker next week and should have outcome week after she's gave me which will take me to 15th week then, I really want this evidence on before decision maker picks it up

they told me on the phone it should be june i hear back which would take it to 20 weeks, i asked if they had even looked at my claim and she didnt seem to say much apart from its in the new claims dept... im hoping we hear back soon!!

Morning, posted once before asking about sending extra evidence. Got a text this morning at 8.58 my boy qualifies, haven't rung to check rates but scan date 16/1

Scan date 7/2, I have had 2 letters with this scan date. Rang this morning for an update, first guy took about 1 second and just said it's in the holding pile, could be up to 20 weeks. So I called again to speak to someone else, and was told I was scanned on 2/2?? And new claims are taking 15/17 weeks. And again we're in the holding pile waiting for a decision maker, should hear by 31st May.

I know I got told to call again next Friday for an update but, I'm twiddling my thumbs over here! 😭😂
Hearing so many people getting awards yesterday had me wanting to call today! But same time I feel like it's going to be the same 'no update yet'. X

Last week was told I’d have a decision by tomorrow, called this morning and told still with a case manager and should hear in 1-2 weeks. I should stop calling it just makes me feel worse 😂

I called yesterday to ask if they had received extra evidence person on the phone asked so many security questions just to say no updates and new claims are takeing 20weeks dont call back befor then wouldn't tell me anything eles unbelievable how rude some of the call handlers are

I called this morning as I’m on 12 weeks and they told me I should hear something by the 23rd July

Hi sorry I'm new here, just been on hold for 15 minutes, got through to a very rude man who told me that my sons claim was with a dm & that they were awaiting further information from his school, I tried to explain that it had now been 21 weeks (scan date 14/12), I explained that I had spoken to a lovely lady manager last week & I was told that they had received all the information that they needed & to ring back this week to see if we could speed the process up a bit at this point he got very irate & started talking over me, told me that it will not be looked at that fast & I that I should try ringing back in 3 weeks, I told him I didn't appreciate his attitude towards me & requested to speak to a manager at which point he told me to make a complaint on the direct gov website & hung up, absolutely shocked behaviour

Waste of time.. the guy kept getting my son's reference number wrong, then he couldn't find the application which sky rocketed my anxiety even more. Then he said he can't find anything. Then he said it's still being looked at.

given up honestly. At this point I'm past caring. I'm mentally exhausted by it.
04/01 scan date and it's a joke at this point really.

Hey guys, my scan date was 14/02, they moved me over to financial hardship today how long does it take to hear back from being placed on financial hardship? x

Call back 523 options and demand to be put through to a manager x

Should have an update earliest tomorrow latest monday x

Time to ask for a manager and demand it gets sorted asap x
