Thank you so much! I'm so worried its going to be a rejection as he's got no diagnosis but they are saying he is autistic with adhd traits, very delayed in all aspects.

Can anyone explain how the mobility side work? He's only 3 so doubt we will be entitled .

Remember dla is based on care need. So aslong as you can prove he needs/gets more care than a child his age then keep fighting. Mobility is high from age 3 and low from age 5 xx

DD5 has been awarded HRC and LRM, I’m so over the moon as we had to stop her private OT a few weeks ago due to the cost (£600 a month), and this will almost cover it.

for reference she is not officially diagnosed yet but is under CAMHs and SEN at school.

Just a question for fellow Sen parents. Is it appropriate for me to order a radar key do you think? DD is terrified of toilets (hand dryers and all the general noise) and will often wet herself mid meltdown as I’m trying to get her to go in.

My daughter’s been AWARDED!!!!!!

Decision made on April 26th, scan date December 19th but they’re back paying to December 4th. The woman was lovely, she’s called Denise and I cried on the phone with her!

I wish I could meet you all now for a coffee and hug because this is such a lonely journey. I’ve no family and her dad says she’s naughty (he’s abusive), so it’s just the two of us and I was ready for MR. Gosh, cup of coffee would be nice but I’ve no milk and can’t leave as she’s home from school!

Late to the party but joining to follow others progress!
COC scan date 16/04- so aware we have a good while to go.
Call handler today told me 15-17 week wait same as that of new claims (not holding on to that at all!)

Oh and they haven't asked me for a birth certificate. My child is a British citizen and has a passport so I put the passport number on the application. I guess if your child isn't British or doesn't have a passport you might be asked for the birth certificate?

He is British and has same last name as me also passport number on form, some do and some don't ask I guess x

Interesting, I don't understand why they'd want the birth certificate on top of everything else but what the hell! I guess they might still ask me to send it. We'll see.

Honestly after being here since thread 25 and sending forms you honestly you never understand a lot of things you hear from them, there is no order with this system so I'm not surprised they ask some but not others.

And all just because his dad passed away.. I know I overdramtizing a bit here...

I'm not sure if it has been made like a priority.. he said they will try the best to deal with it as soon as possible, BUT if I can hear anything back from them for following six weeks, I should call them 🤦🏻‍♀️ I even mentioned that I already had a call nearly two months ago asking to explain about that pension. Call the long way 523. Be firm state you want to check its been marked as a priority and if not for them to do so now. Tell them its causing a great deal of stress that you are not sleeping and now your anxiety is become sever x

I literally don’t know how you’re coping this long!
my scan date is 26/1, and I’m already getting itchy 😂😂 I think if/when I receive the text to say they’re looking at it, then il ring daily. TIL then I think it’s pointless for me. Really keeping everything crossed 🤞
