Will call them on Thursday as it will be a week from last call. But honestly I don't think I will cope with the same: just wait! response. Had a proper anxiety panic attack on the way back from school drop this morning. Was in shock, because out of nowhere. But I guess it just builds up even if I'm trying not to focus on it so much, it's at the back of my head constantly. Even if they decides to decline it wouldn't make any sense why it takes so long.

@Matilde08 have you considered emailing your local MP? I did when I was having issues in refuge and he was a massive help, soon got people to pull their finger out! The wait you've had is disgusting and it's unfair that you have to deal with all this extra stress on top on an already stressful process, and on top of the extra stresses of parenting a SEN child. I am really hoping you get some answers soon sweet xx

I just don't get it why it takes so long. He clearly understood that pension is nothing to do about my sons special needs, but still said they need to do additional checks. I'm trying to not take it personally, but it starts to upset me about too much. After that call I just literally broke down,... loads of still triggers me massively and even if I have managed to move on with my life... finding it extremely challenging.

I did last week... Still needs to do some additional checks and when I asked about approximate time for decision to be done.. they said if nothing back in 6 weeks, I have to call them again...

I'm being patient for now, 15 weeks 2moro... had the standard text yesterday 🙄 but loads did, was told to wait til June 5th!
So housework day today for me, driving lesson 2moro, and ehcp review for my other sen child fri... so keeping busy til the weekend lol
