Thank you everyone. She got middle rate to 2031. Im not doing mr as im exhausted. This will help her so much 🥰.
Scan date 30/01. She has uncontrolled type 1 diabetes, awaiting adhd & asd but as that is newly done i didnt have much evidence on that. I am up all night with her but hey ho. Also she is 10 years old xx

Amazing, congratulations!! Same scan date as me - I was expecting at least another 3 weeks till i hear but now i am crossing my fingers <3

Mammymummymam · 29/04/2024 16:33

Hi all. I have a long wait ahead. I sent the forms off on 11th april next day scanned delivery. Iv not heard anything yet to say they have recieved the forms. I am worried about lack of evidence, my daughters nursery school filled in part of the form for someone who knows your child, she wrote on about her referrals for asd, speech and language therapy, learning difficulties and that she is on the list for a specialist teacher, i also sent in a photocopy of what the health visitor wrote in my daughters red book when she came out to see us in regards to the referrals, i also screenshot and printed out a note the teacher sent me from the school app which stated that my daughter had been discussed at the initial referal meeting and it was agreed she needed the assessments for asd ect. My worry is that i dont have enough evidence for my claim to be successful as at the moment i dont have anything other than what i stated above.

Xxbecsmumoffourxx · 29/04/2024 16:57

Just phoned to check all my evidence was scanned on. She was really nice and told me there are 7 holding piles and his will be picked up next and should hear in the next couple of weeks with a decision. Fingers crossed it's not a decline 🤞

Honestly it's not always to do with evidence but how you fill the form out and what you say, don't over panic, you can always phone up and ask them if they have your form as you haven't received your letter of confirmation as that way you know your scan date. I phoned up after 2 weeks to confirm and then a week later the letter turned up anyway

Aw thank you. Ill try and call tomorrow. I am worrying already and have a long road ahead. I tried to give lots of detail and examples on the form of my daughters behaviour and i wrote next to some of the boxes you tick (dont know if you are allowed to but i did haha) so i just hope its enough

Yeah sounds perfect to me there has been loads of people that get awarded with no evidence at all on here before, it is a long road but will be worth it for your daughter, so many of us have them days of self doubt and over thinking have we done enough lol x

Oh gosh, I’m 15 weeks on Friday, scan date 19/01, got the automatic text today to say they’re still looking at my claim and now get overly anxious, I just want to call and call again🙈🤣

doingmybest23 · 29/04/2024 17:34

If you don’t mind me asking how long after sending the form do you get a letter or text saying they’ve received it? Sent a new one for my oldest daughter

I never actually received a letter or a text to say they received the form, I only knew because they rang me to ask a question about something on the form, I then got a letter around 6 weeks after to say they were still looking at the claim, and then a text today at nearly 15 weeks again to say they’re still looking. I know it’s usually around 2 weeks though so to put your mind at ease you could always call them x

doingmybest23 · 29/04/2024 17:52

I got my first letter after 3 and a bit weeks then the next day I received a letter asking for birth certificate, then my 2nd letter at the 8 week mark, I'm currently at 12 weeks today

NameChange30 · 29/04/2024 18:10

Hi all, sharing this for info for anyone who has sent off their forms recently. I am doing a new claim and the forms were delivered on 15/4, I heard nothing until today (29/4) when I got a letter confirming it was received. The letter is dated 24/4 but it only arrived today. It has reference number which looks like a NINO. The letter says that it will take up to 15 weeks to process the claim. However, I'm skeptical about that, as I doubt very much that they update their template letters with the most recent processing times. I am now going to wait the 15 weeks which takes me to 29/7, and if I haven't heard by then I'll call. I might lurk on the threads a bit before then but won't post again tor a while.

Good luck to those of you who are ahead in the process and waiting for a decision, and to those of you who have a decision but would like to challenge it.

NameChange30 · 29/04/2024 19:13

Oh and they haven't asked me for a birth certificate. My child is a British citizen and has a passport so I put the passport number on the application. I guess if your child isn't British or doesn't have a passport you might be asked for the birth certificate?

Hey and welcome, it seems to be wait time has reduced from 20+ weeks to 15+ (given they dont need anything further). Aslong as the ref doesnt start CL then yes it will be national insurance number. If its CL then its not and we can explain that if needed. Birth cert seems to be a random asking. Some have been asked and some havnt. Also count from the date the forms were recieved as thats your scan date. All payments are backed to date you requested forms xx

Scan date 19/01

Received a text this morning while I was reading this website. Haven't called just trying to patiently wait!
DS Has been referred for autism and adhd by the school so hoping the claim is accepted! The wait is excruciating!!

WaitTimeWarrior · 29/04/2024 20:08

Does anyone know roughly when you receive letters? Send date is 6/3 received letter confirming and today received another today (pic attached). Is this normal timescale?

You recieve this letter at about 8 weeks then at about 15 weeks you will get a text. Then from that text it can be anything from few days upto another 5 weeks depending on cases and if they require more info x

Thank you so much! I'm so worried its going to be a rejection as he's got no diagnosis but they are saying he is autistic with adhd traits, very delayed in all aspects.

Can anyone explain how the mobility side work? He's only 3 so doubt we will be entitled .
