My emotions are so high today as my son's had really severe sleep terrors and I'm running on about an hour sleep every day xx

I had it also, 16/01. I phoned this morning and was told mine hadnt been looked at yet but thats no indication of where others could be. Hopefully we all hear soon!

18/01, received generic we are still looking at your claim text. Praying we hear something this week!!

Had the text this morning to say they still looking at claim, 15wks and another claim at around 13wks not sure which claim it's for.... scan dates 19/01 and 29/01.

Can I just ask does anyone know that if dla contact school what do they send? I came across another forum and someone had posted on there that dla had sent their child’s school some further questions which was all yes/no questions but this forum was from a few years ago so I wondered if it’s still the same?
Because for us apart from a few issues at school he’s quite well behaved so I’d love to know what it is they actually ask school or is each individual DM different? And is the contact done by letter? You’d think they’d call or email to speed things up a bit

They can contact the school, yes. I think this depends on the disability of the child. How it is done though I’m not too sure. From
what I know they like to see how the child behaves at home as well as in school and they look to see if the school confirms what you’re saying on the forms etc. This can be challenging if children mask in school. Good luck.. sorry can’t be more helpful about how they contact the school though.
