They can’t say that. The customer service advisors don’t know shit lool! Just say to them you want to speak to the customer service centre and if they ask what for, say it’s for personal reasons and you can only speak to a manager about it. Let me know how you get on tomorrow lovely!

Also anyone still on the old system. Tax credits. I rang Monday to let them know and backpay from them is being paid tomorrow and also weekly amount has updated xx

I got told on phone. Awarded monday, backpay being sent out tuesday. Cleared today and her 1st 4 week payment will be 28th xx

Hi everyone, completely new here, only found these forums through a google search looking for answers. This thread has been a God send, so thank you for all the wisdom I have read.

Submitted everything early Jan and scan date 16/1. Just called after seeing a few people have had decisions from same period. Man on the phone said it's closed which means a decision has been made but he can't tell me over the phone so I'll have to wait 7-10 days.

My question is; has anyone claimed for similar reasons/diagnosis ; PANDAS syndrome - NHS call it a 'controversial diagnosis' but sudden onset of Tourette's syndrome, OCD, dysgraphia, anxiety, age regression and sensory issues following Strep infection in Dec 22. Also have paperwork that supports functional neurological disorder diagnosis and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. No way she leads the life of a normal child but worries me that it will just be thrown out due to NHS very far behind private doctors in diagnosis and treatment ? Any advice welcome. Thank you.

No way!!! My daughter was diagnosed with FND in December 2022 and that was following a strep an infection that went to her brain she uses a wheelchair and walker and has regressed a lot. She is now 9 and was awarded initially for a year and renewal in jan this year for another 2 years as there is no cure. You should be aware and I would appeal if not xx

SD 31/01. Called today after sending further evidence on Monday. Scanned and attached on Tuesday.
Spoke to really nice guy who said it’s still in the queue. He said they are taking up to 20 weeks but could be sooner. I am hoping I get notification within next 3 weeks and will call again next week 🤣

Will they be open tomorrow Fri 3rd may I'm still waiting for them to get word back from nursery I sent loads of proof to must be because I'm trying to get smi done for mobility congrats everyone on awards

Omg that's so fast, I'm still on old system but I have received yesterday my migration notice to move over but don't want to move yet until as I want back pay first so gonna go close to deadline day before making that claim. Did you ring up and just say that get dla for your child and to add it to tax credits, thank you

Scan date 16/02. Got told on 30th April was on last stages of decision maker but haven't heard anything yet.

Yeah dont move over yet as uc have to pay the same you get on old system. Ring them in morning state your child is now getting dla. They will ask from when and if they ask date off letter tell them date you were awarded. Come tuesday if your check your hmrc app it should all be updated and show your back payment aswell. Hope that makes sense. Mine went up £83 a week xx
