scan date 18/1, just spoke to someone who said it’s with a decision maker and to call back next Friday for the decision

We've been awarded! Which is of course a relief but also it's a bit annoying as he clearly meets the criteria for HRC and we've been awarded MRC, so I guess we'll have to do a MR. But it's great that we've got some breathing space now!

Congratulations on your award hun! ❤️

Scan date 20/02/2024 And we’ve been awarded xx

Hi everyone, completely new here, only found these forums through a google search looking for answers. This thread has been a God send, so thank you for all the wisdom I have read.

Submitted everything early Jan and scan date 16/1. Just called after seeing a few people have had decisions from same period. Man on the phone said it's closed which means a decision has been made but he can't tell me over the phone so I'll have to wait 7-10 days.

My question is; has anyone claimed for similar reasons/diagnosis ; PANDAS syndrome - NHS call it a 'controversial diagnosis' but sudden onset of Tourette's syndrome, OCD, dysgraphia, anxiety, age regression and sensory issues following Strep infection in Dec 22. Also have paperwork that supports functional neurological disorder diagnosis and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. No way she leads the life of a normal child but worries me that it will just be thrown out due to NHS very far behind private doctors in diagnosis and treatment ? Any advice welcome. Thank you.

Hey,scan date 15/01 someone called Abigail called me today said they are looking at my sons claim now. But need his hospital letter confirming his diagnosis and asked me about his sleep pattern which doesn’t exist 😫have the evidence they need. How long does it normally take from there going into 17/18th week. Why wouldn’t they call earlier or the 12th week. Xx

I was told that once it’s with the DM and they have everything they need, then it can take anywhere between a day and 2 weeks - so hopefully not long left for you now.. xx

Thank you lovely. Mine was prioritised due to financial hardship, so i was kind of expecting it. If you need any tips, just to let you knot that I rang up 2 days ago stating I’m facing financial hardship, they put me through to senior management who asked for my circumstances, i told them, etc. they said they’ve put in as urgent and I rang up today afternoon as the lines were down yesterday, they’ve said a decision has been made for hrc Xx

They can’t say that. The customer service advisors don’t know shit lool! Just say to them you want to speak to the customer service centre and if they ask what for, say it’s for personal reasons and you can only speak to a manager about it. Let me know how you get on tomorrow lovely!
