So I have just got through. She said it’s at the very last stages I could have a decision by the end of today. It didn’t make sense to tbh coz she said in the next month aswell

DaniCooling · 02/05/2024 10:48

@Kee3k hoping they say next month just to cover their backs and you hear something today! What is your scan date? X

I had the same! She said should hear in the next few days. Or in the next month. Give it until the end of the month!! 😂 a few days and a month are very different!!

Thanks... at this point I just want decision even if they decline what would make me even more upset obviously as it wouldn't make any sense.

But even with a decline they should of let you know by now! Not saying it is a decline but they could of told you something by now, it's ridiculous!
Im here for you through this difficult journey! ❤️

Matilde08 · 02/05/2024 10:54

@Fee89 I'm trying to not overthink, but to be told by manager they need to do an extra check ups if he's eligible for DLA because he gets that Survivor's pension from other EU country, makes me really anxious and -what if- makes me very pessimistic. It wouldn't make any sense as it's nothing to do with his disorders and SEN.

Waited 20 weeks on dd claim for it to be declined iv requested MR sent it over 6 weeks ago haven't received anything to say they have received it yet. How long have others thats sent a MR in took for a decision.

I had a letter about 3 weeks into my MR to say they were looking at my claim again, I will be at 9 weeks on Monday and I've had no further info from them but from what other people have posted it take 8 weeks to be passed to a DM and then can take up to 15 weeks for a decision. It may well be worth ringing to check they've received your MR.

Congratulations on all awards today.

I'm wondering if its due to the fact its from another eu country and its that they need to check over and not the actual pension itself

@DaniCooling its 17/01 I will be calling back this afternoon. It’s not a straight answer: I said to her well I was told the 2nd of may. She was like yeh could be end of today or could be in a month. Sort yaself out love wobble that head of yours give yourself some sense 😂😂😂that’s what I wanted to say

Emmal1234567 · 02/05/2024 11:07

I have just rung again regarding my mr as it’s 12 weeks today they said decision has been made and letter sent out but wouldn’t tell me on phone said he couldn’t tell me what it was any 1 had this befor

Thank you.. that's exactly what I'm saying... wouldn't make any sense then why it should take so long then. She was very empathetic and apologies as she could see it's out of any time frames. I was very calm and polite, but let her know how much it's affecting my mental health where it's already damaged..ptsd, anxieties etc. And additionally I need to support my autistic son.

Nams2828 · 02/05/2024 11:09

Oh god so in for another long wait then 🤦‍♀️ am on the phone to them now been waiting just over an hour for them to answer so far

I think that's what confuses them and the fact it has been called pension. But that case manager knew straight away and said it's like widow's pension. They didn't even asked amount it's just about the fact he's receiving it from another EU country. But it wouldn't affect much if for example I would get child maintenance from my late husband if he would be still alive and lived in our country for example.

HeathenPlayingHouse · 02/05/2024 09:11

I just got straight through and spoke to a nice lady called Michelle.

She confirmed the scan date of 23/04 and said renewals are taking around 11 weeks- I think that's unlikely given how long everyone in here has been waiting, but I'm just happy that it's been received for now.

Fingers crossed I'm on week 9.

Good Luck everyone with your awards hope you get answers and awarded today

Tracy37x · 02/05/2024 11:21

I can see lots of awards from 15/1 on Facebook being awarded today/yesterday. Maybe it’s a repeat of last week when started off mega quiet and then Thursday and Friday just went crazy..

So annoyed! Was told Monday it went to a decision maker phoned and spoke to Angela today and said in a holding que and hasn’t been updated yet. I asked when did it go to holding que and she said it doesn’t go until week 15 and it won’t be looked at until June. I said it’s already week 15 and all she said was no update yet. Very unhelpful and no way did she check was only speaking to her for 30 seconds at most. I hate that they all say different things. Scan date 22/1 xx

Persianpoppy · 02/05/2024 11:31

Scan date 04/01
today is exactly 17 weeks and although they told me to ring on 20 week, I'm in two minds whether I should call or not 👀

Mialeighx · 02/05/2024 11:40

Hi I know this isn’t DLA related but it’s the only thread Im on I’m not sure where else to post I hope it’s ok to post here, my DD is currently through ASD diagnosis, we had first paed appointment from there they have requested blood tests for further checks is this usual procedure? I’m worrying myself sick that they are thinking it’s something else . ASD is quite severe with lots of regression from around age 1

Fee89 · 02/05/2024 11:41
