So after 15 min hold I went through with very lovely young lady. She did all the check ups and it's still with the case manager as they need to do those additional check ups. I then started to open up how much it affects me mentally because of all this waiting and not knowing. I said I do understand it's unusual case, but nearly half of the year and still being told another six weeks. She apologised and said he will put special note it's emergency and text message will be send straight away when decision is made. She mentioned that information have been sent out to Blackpool as much as I could understand it's about check ups due to Survivor's pension. When they responds, decision will be made straight away. I asked do I have to call back next week or when if no response. She said 2 weeks, but said hopefully decision will be made before as it has been marked like a priority.
QUESTION...as at this point I need to be ready for next step in case they decline his claim, what's the next step for me to do if I do not agree?
