I got through. Just it’s with a decision maker. It’s taking up to 20 weeks

She was lovely think her name was maxine, she went through back pay and rates and said when should recieve etc...I was cryingband she was really kind, called main number then 1 for eng then 5, 2 3 for the options as @Fee89 said to :-)

After getting off of the phone with them 10 mins ago, the lady just phoned me back and said that weve been awarded mrc for 2 years! So happy to finally have an award, but feel like it should have been high rate.

Dla continues to perplex me but at least i can get my boy some equipment he needs now 😁

When I called tues wasn't even with dm, but dm awarded him yest !

Not yet. Just dropped my boys to school, now trying to mentally prepare myself before that call. This is how anxious and frustrated this whole thing makes me feel 😔

Got through to be told “you’ve selected the wrong option for an update” even though I picked the one that says it’s for new claims or an update on existing claims. Getting so frustrated with them now.

Hi all, been watching the threads for a while now... I'm already receiving DLA for my child, but wondered if anyone is waiting on a COC? it's only been 5 weeks. Please tell me that not everyone has to wait 26 weeks for a decision!? It was a gruelling wait to even get awarded after being turned down twice, then taking it to Tribunal. Thanks all...

So called bang on 9 - got a very miserable woman who confirmed my recent evidence had been scanned and then when I tried to speak to her about the financial aspect at the minute the phone went all crackly and then she cut off me. Thought she might call me back but she didn’t 😭.

Called again and luckily only had to wait for 15 minutes. Got through to a man called Bob and he was genuinely so nice. I ended up having a bit of a cry on the phone as I’m so stressed about my daughter and finances and I think saying it out loud to a stranger just sent me over the edge.

He was genuinely a sweetheart though. He said he’s put the claim to ‘priority 1’ but said even without that I should get a decision next week anyway (not sure I believe that bit). He did say I should get a text so hopefully will hear something tomorrow or next week now x

I do understand my boys claim is unusual case and additional check ups needs to be done, but it's nothing to do with his special needs.. I have plenty of evidence with his claim sen out in the first go. And they still think that it needs to be checked up more if his even eligible..just because his father died and having survivor's pension. It's like he's being neglected because of that as this is how I start to feel and it makes me even more upset. Can't remember when I would cried so much and having panick attacks daily as this waiting and ignore builds up so much anxieties. I'm already mess if we talk about mental health.

@Matilde08 Have you spoken to your gp regarding how you are feeling? You have been through alot and anyone in your position would be exactly the same. You are so strong and an amazing lady 💕
