What time do texts generally come through or can it be throughout the day?

I am so sorry you've waited that long just for a decision!
You are entitled to some form of compensation for the wait time! Because I don't believe they have a reasonable answer as to why they've made you wait so long! I would include in your complaint that you seek a compensation remedy as well as what's rightfully owed to your child! ❤️

Nope, called monday and she said 20 weeks... she said wasn't even with dm yet :-( x

you should definitely send the complaints letter. You shouldn’t be waiting this long! No one should! It’s a disgrace! Do they not realise what affect it has on people’s mental health and financial difficulties when we do everything in our power to give our children what they need and deserve! The system is wrong! It always has been! I hope and pray one day they don’t have to go through what we do!

I would call back today. They probably didn’t look into the System when I called last week they said it had been with a DM since it got scanned so how can they say yours isn’t with one xxx

Have my toddler and youngest ds home today as polling shut his school (she only does 3 mornings) can't face another call saying 20 weeks 2bh :-/

Does anybody know if it would be a doctors route I go through? My youngest daughter who I have applied DLA for struggles with pain in her legs and nips when she’s walking. My partner has to make sure he is back from work to drive her to and from school as she has to much pain. We didn’t want him to go back to work after he had to quit last time due to my sons meltdowns and the affect it caused on me. But due to it causing difficulty for us and my wage wasn’t putting a dent in the bills he had to go back. But I don’t think we would get the monility part of dla due to having no doctors letters about this

I’m gunna call today on my break at work so let’s see what they say. If there awarding dates same as ours already hopefully we have been awarded to

@Fee89 did you have to speak to a manager to have your claim escalated or can the call handler do it? I’m fully preparing myself as I know they will try to fob me off 😂 x

Just called and got straight through. She told me that it was being sent to a decision maker today, I told her that someone last week had told me it's already been sent. She then looked again and apologised and said it had 🙄 she then told me it's usually with a decision maker for a week so should be Monday. They make this up as they go along. Scan date 17/01

I’ve just called. Straight through. Asked about the missed call yesterday, he said he can’t see any notes on the system as to why. The claim is still being processed and new claims are taking 16-20 weeks…

I’m currently on hold. I called bang on 9 so hopefully it isn’t too much longer! I’ve got a meeting I need to be at 10. So we shall see!

I just got straight through and spoke to a nice lady called Michelle.

She confirmed the scan date of 23/04 and said renewals are taking around 11 weeks- I think that's unlikely given how long everyone in here has been waiting, but I'm just happy that it's been received for now.

Just called and been told its with a DM and i should hear by the end of May. I explained the financial hardship and she just sort of went 'oh well' so dont think itll be moved any. This is beginning to drain now 😪

On a positive note, im wishing lots of awards for people today! 💜🎉
