I’m over 14 weeks and when I called to see if they had received my extra evidence they said I should hear something by next Friday. So don’t be too disheartened, I think they just make it up as they go. Fingers crossed you hear soon xx

17/01 so 15 weeks tomorrow

@Emzi538 I remember now. 17th. To be fair on facebook iv seen upto 15th. So i reckon at latest friday next week yours could be done by. Monday is bank holiday xx

I'm the 12th Feb but other than the two standard letters, haven't heard anything as yet

@fluffyguineapig we have the same scan date. I've been told the same that it was with DM 2 weeks ago and now all of a sudden there is no update.
Been fobbed off so many times! Genuinely think now they've done the same to my claim.
How dare they? Can't trust the call handlers, can't trust the DMs. Pissing me off now xx

I was brave and called for an update, scan date is 12/02 so still a little while to go but wanted to check just incase there has been any progress. I was on hold for less than 5 minutes but unfortunately not really any news; they just said that it's still waiting to be processed and can take up to 20 weeks from the scan date. Probably shouldn't have called really, don't think I'll call again until 15/16 weeks now.

@CoralSheep thanks for your kind words ✨️ I'm trying to not take it too personally, but it starts to upset me a bit too much. It has been such a lovely sunny day, but I felt so down and stressed with overthinking..it really affects me mentally. I have wrote down complaint letter with @Fee89 help and encouragement. Mentioned dates of calls, details, updates I have not been given or when given, confusing ones...Mentioned how much it affects my mental health at the end of the day. Will give them a call on Thursday and if the same response: just wait! Then my complaint letter is ready to go. I think 24 weeks and still nothing is 'a bit' too much.

So glad you have done that. I know it would of been draining for you to do it 🩷. We are human and have feelings. It becomes a point where you have to say enough is enough! Xx

Parking...12 weeks today scan date 30/01 🤞

I’m almost at the 15 week mark and keep checking my text messages like a madwoman. This wait is driving me crazy 😂

That's so weird that we have the same scan date and exactly the same thing has happened. I wonder if we're in the same batch and something has gone wrong? It's making me so frustrated too!

Mine arrived with the DWP yesterday. By the look of it, I could go into autumn!

Every now and then you hear about an anomaly claim which somehow ends up at the front of the queue straight away with a super-speedy award. Not many people are that lucky though!
