Morning, I've woken up today with a bit of a f*ck it attitude 🫣
What will be will be, I've told myself it will be a decline anyway and this week 14 has dragggggged.
I'll call Monday when I'm 15 weeks.

Absolutely, it was such a relief for us, it really helped my son understand, he’s 14 and I wish we had realised sooner, we have secondary school to thank for that, primary school were useless and actually pretty damaging but it’s done now, good luck with everything ❤️

Its a special needs assessment questionnaire, it highlighted characteristics of adhd and autism so we went ahead with the adhd assessment after we got the results, this is what put him on the SEN register initially but we needed the official diagnosis to get the help he needed behaviour wise in school, it’s very difficult when they mask in school I do feel for you but don’t give up fighting, stay positive ❤️

Stay positive hun, it’s tough but it’s all we can do at the moment, I was exactly 17 weeks so 🤞🏻 you won’t be waiting much longer, seems to really drag the last few weeks though

Does anyone have any tips for reducing pain for hypermobility in children?
Having a crappy morning after a very bad night with one sen ds, and 2nd ds is visibly limping and complaining he hurts (he never complains :-( due to body pain)

What’s your scan date? I don’t know when to call again I called yesterday I get so nervous when calling incase it’s been declined, and because they always make you feel like your pestering.

Yes what will be will be. But c'mon give yourself a shake. Remember why you applied and use that attitude as your fighting strength. You have gone 14 weeks so why give up now? Your giving in to your thoughts!! This isnt for us, its for our babies. You got this 💪 just like everyone else xx

I’m still waiting to hear bk from mr scan 8/2 rung last week still few more weeks to go they said

@mumtumok me - I'm 19 Feb - I did call yesterday and was passed through to that department ! and the woman told me that they were working on MRs dated 5 Feb

I know, just some days I wake up feeling a bit defeated. Didn't help that I'm tired and I still sleep with my 11 year old and he took up the whole bed last night so that's probably why. I have days like this 🫣🤣

rang this morning and accidentally put the phone down right near the end of security for goodness sake so currently on hold for the second time today 😅

Just had a nice argument on the phone. She answered didnt realise i could hear her, 'oh my first call' 'oh have you taken it?' 'No its ok il take it' rolls eyes. Get thro everything. So when you say update what is it you want to know? 🤦🏻‍♀️ is my claim still in holding or with a d.m? Well you rang on the 16th and got told it will be 15 weeks. Have you had a letter saying how long? Yeah UP TO 15 weeks it states. Well its been registered so its just waiting for an outcome. (Wtf does that mean??) Kept saying yeah you just have to wait i know its hard, yeah fact i had to wait 3 months before i could even apply 😡 aww i understand but thats how long renewals are taking, 'its a new claim stop calling it a renewal' 'yeah i meant new claim' yeah well f off biatch 😤.

I rang this Monday, I have a busy day today so can't ring hope it distracts me a bit!

This is what I mean when they make you feel like a pest when you ring! All we want is proper answers and updates! Asif they actually log when you call aswell! That is a joke!

@Kee3k I'm just waiting for one to start counting my weeks then il really go off one 😬. I think they need to re word the letters they are sending out. Instead of up to 15 weeks it should state 'this could take 15 weeks or more for an outcome' atleast then prople wouldnt feel lied to x

I asked that couple weeks ago! As my letter states up to 15 weeks! He was rude and said 20 weeks! If you look on gov website states three months lol!

Don't think anyone really knows what they are doing to be completely honest :-/
